My wife and I came in on Monday (October 2) about 5 minutes before closing to grab some coffee—pretty standard for a coffee shop, right? Wrong.
The staff informed us that they couldn't make any coffee. When we questioned this (it is a coffee shop, after all), their response was simply that they "didn't have to" make it. No apology was offered, nor were any alternatives like a pour-over or an Americano, which is common practice for Starbucks. I know this because I worked as a manager there and have frequented dozens of locations over the years.

Read moreI ordered less ice but the guy gave me a full iced shaken espresso - I even asked him before I took it “is this the right one with light ice” he seemed a bit hesitant but still said yes. I ordered hundreds times of Starbucks but never served with a light iced coffee like this. And I also requested only one pump of syrup but that was quite sweet than usual. I don’t know whether that’s because the ice or he mistakenly made it by default.
