This family-owned ice cream shop boasts 100+ flavors, specializing in “exotic” flavors. They absolutely do not disappoint with their options. Any and everybody is bound to find something they enjoy from their regular, classic options to their foreign fruit choices, like durian and lychee. They also have booze-infused options, so bring your ID if you’d like to try that. The only “negative” things I’d have to say are that toppings were very limited and that is a bit pricy. The quality of the ice cream is probably the best I’ve had in this area, so I would say it is still worth it. The customer service was nice. They offered to quickly break down their flavors and how to order, offered samples, and were efficient with their time and serving. I will definitely be back, and you should definitely visit if you’re craving ice cream.

Edit: I’ve gone back and tried a few more flavors. Some are grainy and not smooth, which I do not like. You can also try a maximum of two flavors, so choose wisely. The Dubai chocolate strawberry ice cream was good, but heavily overpriced at over $16. I have had better for a lower price. The customer service for my later visits was not as great as my very first one. It seemed like there were many employees standing around not doing much while one did most of the work, and maybe that’s why the service was not as good. I’d still be back if I’m in the area and craving a...

Went to the beach locally (Kathryn Abbey Hannah Park.) And afterwards, wanted to get ice cream nearby area. Group I was with agreed and willing to try "Gator Ice Cream"... Arriving, it was a small establishment, but very welcoming atmosphere! We were welcomed as walked in, and I was surprised on amount of menu options. There were two nice ladies that asked if had any questions, or if we wished to try anything before deciding. I went with a medium, two scoops cup: 1 scoop Pistachio, 1 scoop Blueberry Cheesecake... Both tasted extremely good! I would have enjoyed getting more! The service was excellent, and restaurant or establishment was clean and there was seating indoors, and some seating outside (if weather is nice). I certainly enjoyed trying something new, and supporting local, and look forward to trying many of other options or desserts available... I went on Saturday evening, i dont know how busy certain times may be, however, did not take long to be helped or order items. Parking is shared with other businesses, but parking...

If you’re in Jacksonville and haven’t been to Gator Ice Cream, you’re seriously missing out! I’ve been here three times, and every visit cements it as my absolute go-to spot whenever I’m in town.

From the moment you walk in, Joel and his wife greet you like family. Always friendly, always smiling, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The atmosphere? Pure chill vibes with just the right touch of warmth that makes you want to stay and savor every scoop.

And let’s talk about the ice cream. Phenomenal flavors, perfect texture, and a menu that keeps you coming back to try just one more (and then another). Whether you’re a classic vanilla lover or craving something unique, they’ve got something to blow your taste buds away.

Simply put, we LOVE it here. If you’re ever in Jacksonville, Gator Ice Cream is a must-visit—you won’t...

Such an amazing gift to have some of my childhood favorites from the Philippines, right here at the beaches.... and now be able to share them with my own kids. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel happy with all the colorful lanterns and decorations. Then you meet and talk with such friendly and smiling people behind the counter (a rarity these days). Not only do they offer samples, they also gave my kids some of the leftover waffles. The cherry on the top for us was that all their ice cream are egg free, for my anaphylaxis son, and also have nondairy and gluten free options for the other family members also. They are made fresh with natural ingredients, right there at the store! My kids LOVED their mango ice cream, my husband and I drooled over taro and jackfruit flavors. Amazing!!! Will definitely a family favorite!
