I ordered the #4 with other items along with a pickle cut in half. When I first ordered my food, I was the only one in line for a while just waiting until someone else finally pulled up. Then there were 2 waiting. When the young lady finally came to the window she told me the total of $38.30 I handed her a $100 she took it and then looked at it handed it back and said she couldn't take it I then begin looking to see if I had another form of payment and as I'm doing so my son asked me why she has an attitude I told him I don't know son and when I found my card I handed it to her while asking her why she couldn't accept it she told me she didn't have change and I said ok. She handed me my food and we were out. I stay literally 0.2 mi (2mins) away from jimmy johns. Right when we got home, I washed my hands and went to go and enjoy my food. Immediately opening my pickle, I was upset due to my pickle wasn't cut the way I paid for in fact it looks like it was cut just how the young lady attitude was.... without care. So, I was pissed then to open my sandwich and seen it was made without care as well. I went to go back for a refund the same young lady told me it wasn't anything wrong with the food, so she wasn't giving me my money back. I informed her my bread was dug out and she stated that's how it was made, and I said that's fine, but it was too much missing I order that combo all the time and I am dissatisfied with my sandwich right now. I couldn't even get to telling her about the pickle. Also, I just left not even a whole 10 mins ago. What blows my mind away is that she didn't even look at the sandwich to see how bad it looks nor the pickle but no worries I took a lot of pictures and recorded the whole conversation well not me, but my son did which is crazy because I didn't know. He said mom the first we came she already had an attitude, so I just did. When I first moved to this area, I ordered jimmy johns EVERYDAY seriously sometimes twice a day and one of the main reasons why I stop was the service and now the employees cannot cut a pickle or dig bread properly nor make a simple sandwich with 4 ingredients and won't give you your money back if you don't want to eat a lousy sandwich they made. Read moreI ordered my sandwich 45 minutes ago. I just called them and they didn't answer me 3 times... The 4th time they said "the driver said he knocked but no one answered and that he called you." First of all I have a door bell he could have used if the knock was not loud enough because I have a big home & second of all I did NOT receive ANY calls AND they still kept the charge on my credit card even though they did not deliver my sandwich to me and they were closing soon, it sounds like they were planning to keep the money anyway. This jimmy johns is only 3 minutes away from me.... furious. I am only speaking for the jimmy johns on beach Blvd in Jacksonville beach. I have had great experiences with other jimmy johns. So heads up when you order from this jimmy johns... keep your phone close and call to check up on them every 15 minutes about your order or you might not get it.
Update: I just talked to the manger Trey, he was nice and made up for my bad experience. However, it is clear that the reason for this experience was because they only have 1 delivery driver. I have empathy for that but it is still not acceptable, more people need...
Read moreI absolutely love this jimmy johns. They actually care and it really shows. They consistently deliver excellent customer service, friendly smiles, and amazing, fresh, accurate , FAST , food. Never had a negative experience here. I will drive out of my way to come to this location even if I’m farther away from it and another Jimmy Johns is closer. I know they’re going to take care of me here. Everybody from the managers all the way down to the people taking the orders and making my subs care about what they are doing. My food is fast and accurate every time. The restaurant always looks clean. The grounds are immaculate When I gave praise to the manager today, he said I appreciate it, but make sure you tell me when we mess up, otherwise we can’t get it right
To me- that says it all. So much respect for how much you respect your customers. It deserves a shout out
Ps. I would definitely sign up for the rewards program through the app. I eat here 2 to 3 times a week and I’ve already earned multiple free chips and subs and drinks. Like I needed more reasons to keep coming here! 😁 thank you for taking my food...
