It was my first time going to the caffeinated cat today and I brought my own coffee in since I have a SEVERE dairy allergy. I did not want to risk going into anaphylactic shock by drinking the cafe’s coffee even if they had vegan milk options (which I did not see on the Google menu). The older woman whose name I discovered through a quick search (Tammy King) running the cash register/card reader was very passive aggressive towards my friend and I. She was very impatient with my friend who did not immediately order a drink (it was her first time there as well). When she asked for the drink flavors, Tammy held an impatient, rude tone with her upon answering. Tammy also made a point to hard-stare at me while passive aggressively telling me (and subsequently the other customers) that drinks weren’t allowed in the cat room by stating that “[I] can’t take [my] STARBUCKS into the cat room” as though I had personally attacked her by not buying their coffee despite coming in with a friend who brought them business. She also looked at my friend as though she was incompetent when asking if the cats had names, only to name 3 out of at least 10 they had in the cat room. The other younger brunette employee sitting in one of the chairs inside was nice, but I didn’t catch her name. The cats were lovely of course but Tammy really ruined the experience. Please tell your employees (Tammy) to be more considerate and mindful next time, especially because some people actually have disabilities that they cannot control...
Read moreThe place itself is very cute. But I adopted 2 cats, and the women running this place was so rude and unorganized. It took a week to get my cats records. Why did I need them ASAP you ask? Well because she sold a very sick cat without any warning. My cat was so sick and I payed for every single vet bill. The women said she’d take him to the vet, but in a few days. My cat is sick, he has been sick because I’ve been updating her. I was done with the unorganized lady and business. I took him. Another thing is that both of my cats are not litter box trained. At the age of 3-5 months, they should be. I am retraining them as I speak. No warning of that either. My business from there is done. I don’t recommend adopting cats from here, it was a big mistake but I would never give up an animal. I love my cats but not the way this business runs. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 2 years later and I’m here to write an update. I spent over $500 on the two cats I adopted from here because they had tape worms, fleas, and ear mites. The woman running this had nothing to say to me. One of the cats I adopted passed away only 3 weeks after taking him home. My cat died. I was sold a very sick cat, and he should of been healthy or at least flagged for being sick. I paid for EVERYTHING but the owner should of. I’m glad my cat got to live a happy, HEALTHIER, lifestyle with me where I could get the care for him and love him. He will forever be in my heart and I still miss him to this day. DO...
Read moreTammy and her staff take great care of the cats in the cafe. They make sure that anyone wanting to adopt understands what having a cat will entail. While some may feel upset about being questioned to the third degree it is due to the safety of the cats. They want to ensure the home the cat is going to is safe and that the owners are not going to neglect the cats. My family always enjoys spending time with the cats and playing with them. Sometimes you get the rambunctious kittens, other times you get calm older cats that just want to sunbathe. If you are under 18 you have to make sure a parent signs a waiver before going into the cat room. This is for your safety and the cafes safety. The wait times can be a little long during their busy times but that's understandable as many people want to spend time with the cats. It is a cat cafe that uses the funds from selling drinks and other merchandise to help take care of the cats. Cats are their number one priority and everyone needs to understand this when coming into the cafe. If you don't like cats or want an easy no questions asked adoption than this isn't going to be a good fit for you. As I said earlier, the cats at the cafe are their number one priority. Please do research into what it takes to take care of a cat before going to the...
