My sister and I had decided to try this place out. When there are usually a lot of cars in a parking lot at a restaurant, and chances are there's something good going on inside. Super friendly waitresses. Georgia Florida game had just started and they were very busy. But our waitress took the time to answer our questions about the menu. She made quite a few suggestions for us. The atmosphere is very nice and casual. You can tell a lot of the locals go there. Their menu does not have 100 items on it which is good since they concentrate on making everything fresh. We ended up ordering buffalo wings and the fried spicy cauliflower. We eyeballed several other tempting things. They will have to wait for the next trip. And there will definitely be more trips to this restaurant. I have to brag on the cauliflower. Where are the Michelin star people when you need them? That appetizer deserves a Michelin star. The seasoning was absolutely wonderful and it was cooked to perfection. I couldn't stop eating it even after I was full. I know I told our waitresses at least three times to let the chef know how great it was. The prices we're good and they have a lot going on for their happy hour. There were plenty of TVs for everyone to enjoy the game. So many restaurants are getting out of control on their menus by making all these different combinations that are supposed to be new and cool. And the food ends up tasting like cardboard. This is real food folks. I would highly recommend that you try this place out. There are a lot of other things on the menu that I am dying to try out. But I don't think I could go in there and not order that cauliflower to go along with whatever else I get. I give this restaurant 5 stars * overall. I will give 10 stars to the cauliflower if it would let me. Thank you for some good hearty food...
Read moreWith one evening of our trip to get dinner out together, we did research and chose this establishment based on high reviews. Parking was a mess, but we figured if it was busy that was a good sign. As i signed in, I could see in to the kitchen area as a member of kitchen staff was eating with his hands as he was putting food up. Seriously, allow your staff a moment to eat and hydrate. The hostess was so kind, but overwhelmed by calls, cashing out and retrieving to go orders, bussing tables and hostesses duties. We were told 20 25 min and after much under then that, as an empty table sat uncleared, we were finally seated. The waitress brought our drinks and then disappeared. We had to speak to the hostess and decide whether to pay for drinks and leave or stay. The waitress quickly came after that (now an hour since our arrival) without any apology for delay, and took our orders. It took at least another 30 plus minutes (and the restaurant had calmed) to bring our food. The burger was bland, the veggie wrap was full of slimy, unseasononed spinach. Overall, we were baffled at how high the ratings were. Will not return or recommend. Disspapointed we did not take a 2nd trip to the Fish Camp as we did last time and...
Read moreI was so excited to come eat at RP's because of their great rating. However, a few things really stood out which caused their two star rating. Parking was one of the major issues. We went there Thursday night at 7pm for dinner and had to go around the block and then wait about 8-10 minutes for a parking space to free up. I figured the food must be great here. We entered and were seated quickly. The waitress Jennifer M. was polite and took our drink and appetizer order. We ordered peel and eat shrimp (6 pieces) and Buffalo wings (10 mild). Both appetizers were tasty and fresh. We did have to wait a long time for the food and the waitress to come back and take our dinner order which annoyed me a bit. We then put in our order for a NY Strip Steak medium cooked, and a chicken strip basket with fries. The steak was a little tough, the fries were a little raw, but the chicken strips were good. As I looked into the kitchen window, I was very concerned with the fact that the cooks were either not wearing a mask, or having the mask only covering their mouth as the laughed and talked making the food. Considering how sick people can get with Covid, I was surprised that they did not have a strict rule for...
