Denny's — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I came again and gave it a chance. But this time it was truly awful. Everyone who came after us was served. But our service was not done and was kept waiting. Then the food finally arrived and it was cold. I cannot eat cold food. After all, omelette and meat cannot even be eaten if they are not hot. We asked the woman if it was cold, can you reheat it, and she shouted that it was cold, heat it in the microwave, and our table was far away, we heard it and other customers also heard it. The person at our next table was looking at us. Unfortunately, we waited for the food and it did not arrive. and the food never came. The people next to me had finished eating and I still couldn't eat. We decided to get up and I was hungry. The waitress did not bring my food. The waiter who was looking at other tables brought our food to our table. They literally played games with us. Don't hire problematic people as waiters, their facial expressions and attitudes are really annoying.I wanted to start the day with a nice breakfast with my family, unfortunately I was hungry. You can't even provide service yet. I will never, ever come here again. First, find yourself good service staff.

Update I came today. The waiter was very bad. It does not take the order properly. He leaves immediately without waiting. cold coffee has arrived. I wanted hot coffee. He pours half the coffee. This is the first time I have come across a coffee that is half poured. It was very surprising. I think the person working today was not a waiter. It is not suitable for this job. When he inserted the card into the machine while making the payment, he left immediately. It's a complete comedy 🤣 he leaves immediately after taking the order.The food tasted bad. This place definitely needs some attention. Managers need to take care of this.

The waitress said "easy peasy" when we gave our orders, which made us feel like we didn't care. We come to receive attentive service and to eat while feeling special. It would be better to act this way. The coffees were cold. Our preference is for hotter and more...

The restaurant was empty so we were told to pick wherever we wanted to sit. The waitress was friendly & professional. We placed our order & I asked for Jelly to go with mine. The waitress advised me they were out of Jelly! How does a restaurant run out of a condiment? The manager said they had an over abundance of diners but the waitress stated they’ve been out of jelly for 2 days! I was disappointed but moved forward with ordering the “Moon over my hammy”. When the food arrived the waitress asked if I wanted honey since there was no jelly, no thanks, not the same. The sandwich was cut in half & when I got to the 2nd half I noticed there was no cheese. I called the waitress over, showed her, then asked why/how could this has happened as there was cheese on the first half. She apologized & said she had no idea but would show the cook. She also mentioned that the manager was in his office ordering jelly (won’t help me now lol). I had to use the restroom & with only us (myself & my husband) I was shocked to see how filthy the restroom was. When I came back to the table I started to look at the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant. It was pretty clean as long as you didn’t look up!! All I could think of was dust blowing on food! I asked my husband to take care of the bill & that I would be outside. When he came out he told me she took my meal off the order. We were driving from out of town so when we arrived home my husband called corporate only to be told that because we weren’t points members she couldn’t help us & gave him a number for customer service who also wasn’t helpful! Close to airport and open 24 hours : The food was awful however the restaurant was clean and updated.

We arrived about 5am, My husband and both ordered two eggs with bacon and sausage. I requested over medium for the eggs and the meat well done.

Our food came in a short amount of time. There were four other customers in the restaurant.

Upon first glance, the bacon (thinner than a sheet of paper) nor the sausage were even close to well done. Which is a roll of the dice in restaurants so I was only annoyed not angry.

The eggs were barely even over easy as there was not only runny white but a lot of clear liquid. The eggs were 100% undercooked. My husband's eggs were scrambled with cheese and while they were not as bad, still were under cooked.

I bypassed the eggs and went to eat the sausage, it again was severely under cooked. This goes for both my plate and my husband's.

So for $20+ I had three pieces of razor thin bacon, two pieces of sausage I threw up and some water with lemon.

My husband said the coffee wasn't the worst but was a bit bitter. The best part of the meal was the ice water, water tastes great and the waitress gave a good slice of lemon.

Dishes and silverware were clean as was the rest of the restaurant, all staff was pleasant.

I would never go back to this restaurant but it is likely this was the result of people at the end of a long shift and just wanted to go home. If you have time to send your food back if it is not cooked, you could do worse than...
