Did you know? Google: "ice machines have more bacteria than toilet water"
Food is good, super fast, service is good 80% of the time. They leave no way to order NO ICE online, so I plaster it ALL OVER MY ORDER, the address, gate code, company, etc it is ALL OVER my order. Yet more times than not they include ice in my drink. Sure it is just ice but I sip my soda through the day and when it comes with their crushed ice it is absolutely worthless as it melts and becomes watery instantly.
I have spoken to the franchise owner who has informed me that to get better service I should call in to make sure I do not get ice. What happened to the customer is always right? How about he instruct his employees to check my order information before driving away.
What will it take for me to order over the phone? Me having my card (which I don't very often as I have it stored elsewhere) Walking 6 flights of stairs (in total) to go down stairs to make my order. Taking 15 minutes of my time to make the walk down the stairs and make the order. Then 15 minutes later walking 6 more flights of stairs taking more time to pick up my order more than likely finding out it got ice anyways
What does it take to order online? Login, select previous order, submit my payment info, confirm. Walk 6 flights of stairs only once to get my order.
The owner is completely right though, I should take a bunch of extra effort to ensure that their people do their jobs right. What happened to the customers always right? What happened to good service? What is so hard about checking the receipt before you leave to make sure someone did not provide additional information IN THE ONLY BOX THEY PROVIDE YOU?!
I am so tired of this but unfortunately with work deadlines I do not get to leave the office and ordering out is pretty much my only option. Until the owner gets some sense and half his drivers learn to read I will be discontinuing my tipping of the drivers. There my problem is solved, I will use that tip money and instead get my drink from the vending machine and I will save my self $3 since I wont be ordering a drink from them or tipping.
This is shameful, Patrick how can you completely disregard your customers like this? You told me yourself that others have complained about this as well so I know I am not the only one. The people of america want to make $10+ minimum wage, WHY? They cannot even take 5 seconds to look at a piece of paper to make sure they are not missing any special requests in the ONLY SECTION PROVIDED.
Anyone reading this have a place around here that delivers the food you actually order please let me know I...
Read moreVery unsatisfactory and probably one of the worst Jimmy Johns I have been to in a long while
I am the sort of person that hates having to eat fast food or "out". When I do I try to go somewhere with quality fresh, healthy, and tasty food. For this reason I often go to Jimmy Johns.
[FOOD] BREAD: I love Jimmy Johns bread. It's Super fresh, soft and tasty. Unfortunately this restaurants bread was hard, stale, and pretty flavorless. See the video you can hear how hard the bread is as I knock it with my knuckles. Additionally it was really small/thin (see image) ROAST BEEF: The second reason I love Jimmy Johns. The beef is usually good quality cooked to a slightly rare perfection. The roast beef I got was a bit old looking and overcooked brown (see images). LETTUCE: Wilted and soggy not crisp and freshly cut. PEPPER and SALT: The sandwich was overpowered with pepper and salt fully taking over the taste of the sandwich.
[SERVICE] No frills here. The part that upset me the most is she took my order and then never asked how I wanted my sandwich. She just took my money then went behind the WALL to make my sandwich. That's right a wall, I could not even see my sandwich being made. By the time the finished product was completed my sandwich was made completely their way (full of Mayo instead of mustard). I would have at least liked to pick the sauce and condiments.
[OVERALL] Overall I would have preferred a sandwich at Subway....and that's saying something. The main reason we pay more for Jimmy Johns is the quality of the ingredients, take that away and you may as well go to subway. Don't blame all Jimmy Johns by the quality...
Read moreWow, I didn’t know it was rocket science to try and order a giant turkey sub… so not only was this individual extremely backwards with explaining the price of the double meat for the giant sub he then offered to do a special sub that came with ham and turkey over the phone… We both had an agreement that the ham would be swapped for turkey so it would just be a little bit more for the sandwich, but it would have the double turkey on it… we then get the sandwich find out that it’s ham and turkey on it, we called this individual back and then they have got to put in their two cents and don’t even let me finish what I’m trying to say over the phone. They don’t allow us to speak to the manager they’re conveying all the messages to the management not allowing us to explain the issue, seems like this young man takes pride and making peoples day a mess and causing issues for the business, most businesses the manager would just say hey sorry about the trouble will swap you out for the right sandwich this individual has made it a step harder by saying they have to void out the first transaction and then charge us again for this new transaction so now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days to get the first transaction back on my debit card and still have to pay for another sandwich… This is really piss poor practicing not only trying to get into it with a customer about something as silly as a single sub.. I will not be ordering from this location ever again, nor will I be taking my business to Jimmy John’s ever again…
Thanks...
