I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kazu Sushi Burrito in Jacksonville, where I indulged in their delicious poke bowl. Located in the heart of the city, Kazu Sushi Burrito is a trendy and modern restaurant that offers a unique fusion of Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine. As a fan of both sushi and poke bowls, I was excited to try their take on this popular dish.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by the sleek and stylish decor. The ambiance was inviting and modern, with a vibrant energy that added to the overall dining experience. The staff greeted me warmly and guided me to a table where I could peruse the menu and make my selection.
After much deliberation, I decided to order the poke bowl, a colorful and flavorful dish that combines fresh fish, vegetables, and a variety of toppings. I chose a mix of salmon and tuna as my protein, along with avocado, edamame, seaweed salad, and crispy wonton strips as my toppings. The bowl was beautifully presented, with each ingredient carefully arranged to create a visually appealing and appetizing dish.
As I took my first bite, I was immediately struck by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The fish was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the combination of textures and flavors in the bowl was truly delightful. The soy-based sauce added a savory umami flavor that tied everything together perfectly, creating a harmonious and satisfying dish.
Throughout my meal, the staff at Kazu Sushi Burrito were attentive and friendly, ensuring that I had everything I needed to enjoy my dining experience. The service was prompt and efficient, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and welcoming. I felt like a valued guest and appreciated the care and attention that went into every aspect of my meal.
In conclusion, my experience at Kazu Sushi Burrito in Jacksonville was nothing short of exceptional. The poke bowl was a delicious and satisfying dish that exceeded my expectations, and the overall dining experience was one that I will not soon forget. I left the restaurant feeling full and content, eager to return and explore more of the unique and flavorful offerings on their menu. Kazu Sushi Burrito is truly a gem in the Jacksonville dining scene, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and...

Once a favorite place, but we’ll never be back.
It’s a shame to see a great product get such terrible service with it. I’ve been to this location 6-7 times in the last six months, and while the quality remains the same, the service has gotten worse with every subsequent visit.
No one behind the counter will make eye contact, smile, or speak beyond a mumble.
We spent an hour at this location and 2 of 6 meals we ordered were not correct, and one never came. When mentioning his never came, we waited over 15 mins for my friend to get delivered the wrong order.
Keep in mind we had been here for an hour to an establishment where the food isn’t cooked or prepared, just tossed in a bowl and handed to you like Moe’s (however lately you fill out your order on a card and sit down after paying).
The problem is we saw multiple other tables have issues with their orders, including insane wait times over 20 mins for something that at one time took less than 60 seconds to get (remember, you order and they just scoop rice and sushi into a bowl that’s it).
Brought a handful of friends to eat lunch together and everyone had a negative experience mainly due to the staff not caring at all or even attempting apologies.
This place needs serious management, cannot recommend any longer, sadly. Used to be a favorite place for a quick bite with friends but not anymore.

I enjoy their large and filling poke bowl fully filled my way with sushi ingredients. They are so nice to let the customer choose which ingredients they want. I eat the hearty, convenient, and healthy bowl over two meals as it saves well with the flavors blending. I wish to get a food photo and bring the bowl home to use with my reusable chopsticks. 🥢
Their generous bowl with white rice, two servings of cooked salmon, edamame, corn, mango, carrot, pineapple, shrimp sauce, ginger dressing, crispy onion, tempura flakes, and sesame seeds is complete with lots of different flavor and yummy. The bowl reminds me of lush Hawaii with the pineapple, mango, and tempura flakes. I pick up a soy sauce and shrimp sauce for home and to supplement. I enjoy eating the different flavors as I complete the bowl. I wish to try more bowls.
Can this location make and provide cooked salmon like the location at the corner of I95 and JTB?
I enjoy they carry unique and refreshing Hawaiian Sun can drinks. I like the different flavors and one of them is luau punch. The indoor seating is nice and quaint. 🌺
