On January 9th roughly around 7:00 a.m I entered the lobby. I’m a loyal customer I drink the same coffee every morning. I wasn’t greeted I was over looked I stood there to long without anyone assisting me. Finally, I walked towards the door then I was asked was I ready to order. My then ordered a coffee and 3 pup cups the pups were waiting in the car. I gave a 100.00 bill which was all I had I didn’t realize I didn’t have anything smaller than a large bill not even change in my wallet. The gentleman than told me he couldn’t take it but I can have the pup cups and I refused the pup cups due to them not even attempting to make it right but I honestly didn’t have anything smaller than a bill. I was treated very rude over an almost 4.00 cup of coffee. I then left the store in disbelief I immediately called the store to speak with a manager she answered the business line as though it was her personal cell phone. After speaking with her she explained no large bills unless I purchased 50.00 or more so then I explained to her I’m a loyal customer and you all would rather lose me as a customer than to make it right because I explained to her I honestly didn’t know and I ordered pizza last night so I forgot all I had was large bills. She said well I don’t know why they didn’t give you the coffee it’s only 3.00 and some change. I was never offered and what’s really upsetting as well is all 3 of my dogs are emotional support animals so then when I entered my car they knew something had strongly upset me. She then tells me to come back to the store lady I don’t have time for this nonsense I don’t know if I’ll come back or not as I walked out a white gentleman was entering the door I’m sure he was spoken to from the moment he entered. Read moreThis Starbucks needs a lot of work. Went through the drive thru earlier today & my usual drink order was messed up by this location again... I ordered a Venti Iced coffee , extra half and half, with cinnamon mixed in. Usually at every other starbucks location or coffee shop, Barista's just pour a little bit over the normal standard of cream - they do not just hand you a cup of cream and call it an iced coffee. When I got my drink, I immediately knew it looked like it was made incorrectly. I asked if they put coffee in the drink because of how light it was. The person at the drive thru did not try to send the drink back the remake & handed me a "side of iced coffee" so i could fix it myself. I really think that with the current prices these issues should be handled better. This Starbucks needs to train their employees better... The cinnamon & extra ice was also not present with the drink. I would have understood a bit more if the location was busy - but they were not at all. Starbucks...
Read moreI normally have great experiences at Starbucks. Good customer service tends to be the norm no matter the store. However, this morning was different. I live in town center, but work in Orange Park. I frequently visit this Starbucks store because of the convenience factor. I drove up to the drive-thru speaker @ 6:00 am where there were cones in place. I waited around 6 minutes before driving forward, I stopped at the window to make sure they were open, I saw people preparing drinks and such. I sat for around 3 additional minutes in which time one employee came to the window, started to unlock it, then disappeared. There were other workers 2-3 moving back and forth and not one came to the window to inform me of delays, late openings, or any other issue. If someone would have simply said “sorry we are delayed this morning” it would’ve have felt better than being blatantly ignored. After waiting a bit more I drove off. Hopefully next time...
