I order delivery service through Grubhub, 3 cinnamon twists and a 12 pack of Cinnabon delights. When it arrived it was still perfectly sealed with two Taco Bell seals strongly adhered to the bag making it impossible to reach in and take anything out…awesome! Love that! I notice the bag was substantially light…ripped the seals and found three orders of cinnamon twists and no Cinnabon delights. I thought “cool I’ll just run up there and grab it, no big deal!” So I called to let them no what happened and was put on a brief minute hold before someone picked up and said, “I personally made that order and it was made correctly, everything was in the bag when it left.” So I asked them why it wasn’t in the perfectly sealed bag and was told “The driver must’ve taken it out.”…….Probably a jerk thing for me to reply, but I asked her “Do y’all give the drivers extra seals? Because I had to rip the seals in half to open the bag.” She said, “No but I personally made that bag and know it was all there.” So I asked her, “Are you calling me a liar? Because I don’t see any way the driver resealed this bag, and it’s not here. I have no reason to call other than to just get my food we ordered” I was even ready to just drive up and grab the missing item. “No sir I’m not calling you a liar but you’ll need to contact Grubhub about this order.” So basically they want me to say my driver was a thief when the bag was perfectly sealed… I drove to the Beach Blvd location instead and got my Cinnabon Delights, called Grubhub and explained what happened. Got my refund. All that and I just wanted to drive up there to grab the missing delights lol. That’s wild. Not like I wanted free food, I paid for more delights at the other location while my original order will take a few days to process the refund…this was a...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I were there on the evening of 9/11/17. Hurricane Irma hit the area earlier that day, so we were thankful that they were open with most everyone else closed. Only the drive thru was open, it was lined clear out to town center parkway with an estimated 60 to 80 cars in the drive thru line, but given the circumstances we understood and waited. Even though it took over an hour to get our food after we got in line, we understood. The crew did their best. They get a one-star rating for two reasons..... 1. They didn't tell anyone waiting that there was a limited menu... soft taco, crunchy taco, bean burrito or beef burrito. That's it. Even though they had employees outside talking to the cars waiting, they said nothing. Not the biggest deal, but the thing that really rubbed us the wrong way was there were cars cutting into line from the opposite direction so they waited three minutes to order while everyone else waited an hour plus and the employees outside including the manager/owner did nothing. The manager said "well we can't control the movements of everyone" no you can't, but what you can do is do the right thing and walk ten feet over to where that blue Envoy was, the one that several other cars pointed out to you and tell them to go get in line like everyone else and refuse to take their order. That's doing right by the people that waited patiently. But, those are the kinds of things that happen when you have a smooth flat piece of skin in place where your balls should be. Next time mr. Manager with the salt and pepper hair and facial hair in shorts and a front facing hat,...
Read moreThe management of this store orders crew members to underportion food. Customers will receive as little as 1/3rd the portion they should be when ordering food at this location, especially chicken. During the double chalupa promotion, employees were ordered to give the $4 item half the amount of the beef that was advertised and that was on the corporate spec sheet.
Employees are not trained. The asst. manager does everyone's training. New employees are put on the line on their first day, and make mistakes which mean customers will receive messed up food. Whenever a customer calls about a messup and comes for a remake, the management accuses them of lying, either to their face or out of earshot to the employees.
The store regularly works employees off the clock without their knowledge and also shorts paychecks intentionally by a couple of hours each week.
Shifts are understaffed and the bare minimum of supplies are ordered so as to maximize profits. This means that when you come to this store, your order will take a long time and chances are they are out of something.
Just.... avoid this one and the one on Beach (next to Sonic) if you can. The staff is rude, treats their employees like garbage, the GM is the same for both stores, Beach's kitchen is dirty. You will receive underportioned food after...
