Not often I dislike a place however after eating here a few times I'd have to say I'd prefer to eat somewhere else.
Let's start with the bad:
On more than one occasion the chicken has seemed to have either too much gristle or just an odd tuff texture; not a pleasant juicy and tender taste you would expect. This has been on sandwiches, tenders, and salads.
On my last visit I placed my order online to save time which almost would have worked perfectly. However, when I got my order I was notified that an item I ordered was not available. Having already paid and not wanting to substitute the item out. I asked if I could just get a refund. I was then told they could but I'd have to come inside. So I left my vehicle to go inside and work out the situation. After trying to resolve the solution inside they said the best they could do is take my information and send it to corporate. They (corporate) would reach out to me in a few days.
So after the longer than expected ordeal, the food was cold by the time I was able to eat it. And they still have money paid to them for items they never delivered.
On to the good:
It's a brand new store so everything looks to be in working order. The staff seems nice even if they are not able to remedy a seemly easy problem at the store level. The store did seem to be clean and maintained.
All in all we have plenty of Chicken Menu options in Jefferson City. So far I'd recommend you find your's at one of the...
Read moreSolid 4½ stars. The restaurant is new, and the service was spot on. They take your order at the counter, issue a numbered table tent, and deliver your food to the table hot and fresh. I ordered the Classic basket, with 4 tenders, a generous helping of very hot and delicious fries with skin on, with two wedges of Texas toast. I chose the Korean BBQ sauce to compliment my wedges, and it's quite delicious on the fries, too. My son had the Cayenne Chicken sandwich with Ranch chips, apparently a kettle-fried offering.
The tables have napkin dispensers and Heinz ketchup bottles. There are additional condiments between the two drink fountains. There's a variety of sodas, lemonade, and teas to choose from. We selected a cup size upgrade to a large, receiving a reusable plastic cup. Lids and wrapped straws are on the fountain bar.
The wedges were good, just the right breading and bite, fries were less salty than some offerings, but they're still really tasty. The Texas toast was golden, and went well with the meal. My son loved the sandwich, but wasn't thrilled about the chips. Couldn't really taste any seasoning, but I dipped them in my sauce and enjoyed them anyway.
Overall, good place to eat. Restaurant is very clean and tended well. We plan to visit again, and this time try another offering....
Read moreI waited in the drive thru for 30, minutes just to get my food with ranch and other sauces that I didn’t order all over the bag and the box and the ranch container litterally has ranch spilling out everywhere and I go to get a napkin and there is not a single napkin in my bag so I have to park my car and walk around the entire building just to go inside and get napkins because I have ranch and sauces all over my hands just from grabbing the bag from the drive thru window. Not only that the young mixed girl at the window was very unprofessional you could tell she did not want to be there she was not nice she barely said a single word and she looked at me like I was crazy because I asked for more ranch and then she comes back with an ranch container that has ranch all over the outside of the container and hands it to me. That is not okay that is very gross and why would I ever want to eat that ranch knowing her hands have been all over the ranch that all over the container. Ridiculous, rude, unprofessional and just very unsanitary. This is the first and last time I will be...
