Dahlia's Ice Cream Spot — Restaurant in Jersey City

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU COME HERE. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!! Do NOT, i repeat do not come here. I ordered the Oreo milkshake. It was so watery milk consistency, way too much milk, not enough of the icecream you can barely taste any Oreo. It literally was a slight bit thicker than water consistency. Basically, It was just milk. The customer service is even worse because I informed the young man and the owner who was a female about how dissatisfying the milkshake was. I literally took 2 sips of this $7 milkshake. She said pay for another one and we can remake it. This was literally THE WORST milkshake I’ve ever had! Like how do you mess up a milkshake? But what bothers most is the disgusting customer service or the lack there of. I will never...

A few things: The store layout feels confusing. I wasn’t sure where the menu was and wasn’t clear where the ice cream was. It’s overpriced. One simple waffle cone with two scoops was $6 - compared to other local ice cream shops, this doesn’t bode well. The ice cream is touted as homemade and while it is tasty-ish, there’s nothing special that justifies the homemade status or the price.

The good news is that there didn’t seem to be a card minimum. However, only MasterCard and Visa are accepted (sorry friends who were trying to score points with AMEX or Discover).

Decent but...

The fact that this ice cream shop has been here even before I was born in the 90s says a lot about it’s background and goodness of their types of ice cream. Your in the jc heights area please stop by and visit this delicious ice cream spot at Dahlia’s. The kids and family also friends would love it and will continue to go back I promise you that ☺️ we got ourself a small sugar cone with vanilla which cost around $2. Something & I ordered the larger almond chocolate cone with coffee & mint chocolate 😬😎🍦🍨🎂 Last thing ! They have ice cream cakes and personalized ice cream...
