If you’re craving a truly authentic and soul-satisfying South Indian meal, look no further. This place delivers an unforgettable experience with every dish bursting with flavor, tradition, and love.
We tried a variety of dishes, and each one was an absolute standout:
🍽️ Rava Masala Dosa and Rava Sada Dosa were crisp, golden perfection — the texture light and flaky, with just the right amount of ghee. The masala filling was flavorful and comforting, while the sada version let the crispy dosa shine on its own, paired beautifully with the fresh chutneys and piping hot sambar.
🍛 Idli Vada Combo was as classic as it gets — the idlis were pillow-soft and the medu vada was delightfully crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Dipping them into the tangy sambar was pure bliss.
🌿 Pesarattu, a green gram-based dosa, was a healthy and delicious surprise — earthy, wholesome, and topped with onions and chilies, it had a unique flavor that stood out.
🔥 Podi Idly was one of my favorites — mini idlis tossed in fiery, aromatic podi powder with a drizzle of ghee. The perfect balance of spice and comfort food.
🧀 Jini Dosa, a street-style fusion dish, was packed with cheesy, spicy, and tangy flavors — it’s a must-try for anyone who enjoys a modern twist on tradition.
🍱 The Tiffin Platter Combo was the ultimate sampler — a little bit of everything, perfect for first-timers or anyone who just wants to indulge in a variety of textures and flavors in one sitting.
🍚 The Wedding Style Pulao brought back memories of South Indian celebrations — light, fragrant rice with vegetables and traditional spices, served with raita that perfectly complemented every bite.
☕️ And how can a South Indian meal end without the iconic Filter Coffee? Strong, aromatic, and served piping hot — it was the perfect finishing touch. The Buttermilk was light, refreshing, and spiced just right, while the Lassi was creamy, cool, and a great palate cleanser.
✨ Service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff guided us through the menu with genuine warmth and care.
This restaurant doesn’t just serve food — it offers a nostalgic, flavorful journey through the kitchens of South India. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of the cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place will leave you impressed and coming back for more.

Read moreI had express meal here. Disappointed for regular meal is only on weekends as I started to go there for full meals only but anyway I will rather go full Meals option has more varieties and cost effective and I had other items Too as good and tried them at home, masala Vada is good. Be careful of mysore bonda it is flat taste maynot go well to your taste as mine also and can't even eat fully had to throw sadly. Service is excellent, arabic manager and indian brother very friendly. Atmosphere is also very neat. If you can see the rose milk chunks that may not easy drink. Consider it before buying. Also salt Lassi a bit very thick. I would recommend mango lassi and butter milk. I have yet to try doaa batter and idli batter. I hope I did all the items covered. Oh another one mango shake little bit less in that taste than what I had strawberry milk shake last time. Later Tried and updated message of Idli batter is a little bit older but Dosa batter is good freshly. Caution of idli batter bit ancient. So list goes like this.
Express Thali. You don't get any of the regular Thali items , Wait till weekend to get the full Thali. Steam Idli was good. 3.mango shake couldn't recommend as preferred as Strawberry shake tried before that was hands up. Mango Lassi is good. Butter milk is good. Rose milk is little bit worried of the milk chunks. 7.salt Lassi is not as much as others. 8.Mysore bonda, it don't even go there after tried just a little bite was all I had before said bye. Masala vada is good immediately but not to microwaved later become hard to eat taste changes to flat. Idli batter, well check it as mine sadly little old for more than some considerable amount of time Dosa batter is pretty fresh for making...
Read moreI visited Balaji Bhavan for dinner and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. As expected, there was a long queue when I arrived, but it was handled exceptionally well by the staff. The line moved efficiently, and guests waiting outside were even offered free water, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Once inside, the hospitality continued to impress. Bottled water was provided as we were seated, and the service throughout the meal was attentive, polite, and professional.
The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with aromas that immediately reminded me of home-cooked South Indian meals. The atmosphere felt vibrant yet comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy authentic food with family or friends.
I tried the Sambar Vada, Gini Dosa, and Punugulu, and every single dish was absolutely delicious, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and served fresh. The chutneys and sambar complemented the dishes beautifully, and the quality of the food was consistent with the high standards they are known for. Do not miss the desserts - all of them are a must-try and incredibly fresh. A perfect way to end the meal. They are loaded with dry fruits and fresh fruits depending on which one you get.
Special shoutout to Jessi and Sri, who were doing an excellent job managing the crowd and ensuring every guest felt well taken care of.
