It's a shame giving Cava 2 stars but it must be done. I love the food but my experiences here have gone downhill since they've opened. Let me open with the fact that I usually order on the mobile app so your experiences may vary.
First off, the food is great if they get my order right and that's a big if. More than half of the time I've placed an order, I've had to come back and ask for something left out. Please understand my frustration as I've learned the hard way that Cava orders need to be checked before I leave. It shouldn't even be an issue to begin, with as everything I've ordered is written on their sticky printout.
Secondly, the app tells me that my order will be ready in approximately 15 minutes. I now know that it simply adds 15 minutes to when I placed the order and that it is not accurate ETA. I live within 10 minutes so I understand if it's not ready by the time I get here, but I shouldn't have to wait between 15-30 minutes after the given ETA to receive my food. This has been a consistent problem.
I enjoy Cava but I think this location is suffering from staffing issues as it can become fairly busy. My decision to eat here is swayed more and more against it whenever I start reflecting on my previous experiences. I hope y'all improve soon, until then I won't be coming back as often...
Read moreI had an uncomfortable experience during my visit to this location. While I was checking out, the cashier accidentally rang up my meal with the order of the customer ahead of me. Mistakes happen, and he was polite and calm as he tried to get help correcting it. Unfortunately, the way the manager handled the situation was disappointing.
She came out visibly annoyed, mumbled something under her breath to the cashier, and allowed the previous customer to speak down to him without stepping in. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, she reprimanded him rudely in front of us instead of correcting the mistake and addressing any concerns privately.
From what I could see, the cashier appeared to be struggling with an eye issue — he even mentioned having trouble seeing. It looked like he may have had a burst blood vessel or something similar. Instead of showing concern or empathy, the manager dismissed it entirely.
As someone who works in the food industry myself, I believe this could have been handled with much more professionalism. A quick apology, a calm resolution, and a private conversation later would’ve been far more appropriate. No customer or team member should be made to feel that kind of discomfort at the register.

Read moreNot sure what management was thinking. I had a mobile order that was supposed to be ready at 815. It’s 830 and they are just now restarting the grill to make more falafel. There is 90 more minutes left until close. The food is always good but this is ridiculous now they say it’s another 20 minutes to let the grill warm up before even putting the falafel on. I never dine in so could care less about atmosphere. There is a whole line of people and the grill is shut down. For what?!?! My time is important to me and I don’t care about being comped I order something online and YOU tell me it’ll be ready at a specific time then it better be ready at that time. My time is important as is everybody else’s. Only kept my order because the only other place is either Salata or ahi poke, both of which is at least 20 minutes round trip, so might as well wait. Do better and manage better. 45 minutes to wait for a freaking salad is diabolical!!! I was the first to be there at 815 and then again at 830 came back at 850 and I was served my TOGO food AFTER ALL the other ride share drivers came for...
