This is a long review and I still am unable to express just how awful our experience was. My wife and I ate here September 19th. It was to celebrate my new job. Worst experience at a Texas Roadhouse ever. Our server's name was, I believe, Hailey, and she started out very well. However once we had ordered, something we settled for because she told us they did have Prime Rib cooked med-rare, but after 15min we were told they only had medium. We thought since it's Prime Rib it will be just as good. We thought wrong. It was awful. We never got a chance to tell Hailey we were unhappy with it because she basically ignored us once we were served. After 20min she walked by our table and saw that we still had quite a lot of food left on our plates. She asked if we needed boxes. We said yes. She ran and got us two boxes through them on the table, through our receipt on the table said. Here's your receipt. You can pay there or you can pay cash. She ran off again without asking why we had so much food left. I was so disappointed and my wife was just heartbroken that my celebration dinner turned out to be ruined. I don't blame Texas Roadhouse for the food. I blame Haley for the service. She saw that I was unhappy with my food because she kept looking at me from other points in the restaurant but she would never walk over and ask me what was wrong. I myself was a server for 30 plus years and I was just appalled by this level of service. It's saddens me to give Texas Roadhouse a bad review because this is one of my favorite places to eat. However, after the service that we received, we will never be back to this store. If we want prime rib or steak we will drive as far as we need to go to get good food before we will ever step foot in this Texas...
Read moreTexas Roadhouse has always been one of my favorite restaurants.
We arrived and were told it would be an 45 minute wait, to return to our vehicle and the restaurant would text me when our table was ready.
Approximately, 35 minutes later I received a text that said gather your Party and return quickly, which we did.
I proceeded to the hostess desk and was told to wait between the double doors a few minutes as they were clearing a table for us.
While waiting we observed the seating staff come out of the doorway into the waiting area carrying the hot rolls in an open basket without a covering.
The waitresses talked over the food as they called out customers' names. Customers were coming and going in and out the door pass the uncovered rolls. That is extremely unsanitary!
My sister and I were preparded to request fresh covered rolls once we were seated.
After 25 additional minutes, I returned to the hostess and asked if she had forgotten about us. She seemed caught off guard and asked for my name. She then stated there were two Parties ahead of my Sister and I.
We went back out to wait. Approximately, 20 minutes later a couple walked in and the man had a dog riding on his shoulder. He was not turned away but told to wait for a table. It was not a service dog. Service dogs go through extensive training and they do not travel in that fashion while in public. In addition, they wear a collar and vest so that the public is put on notice that they are an official licensed and registered service animal.
I am extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, I will not dine there again nor will I recommend the restaurant to family...
Read moreMade reservations for Mothers Day, and expected a delay. I then received a notification our table was ready yet still had to stand inside the door and wait for an additional 40 minutes. When we were told our table was finally clean, I sat down to it to find napkins, and empty plastic kid cups under the table, and on the booth seat. Still looking forward to having a good time I handed it to the server and proceeded to order. My appetizer .. the grilled shrimp came out not warm, but ICE COLD. I sent it back and received a new one that was satisfactory. I then ordered the equivalent of a Filet Mignon I forget the name they call it. I asked for it to be cooked Medium, and it came out bleeding on my plate, to call it Rare would be KIND.👀 I sent that back, and was told the manager Caiden would bring it back to me. Well by the time he came back the other 6 ppl with me had finished their whole meal! I said no thank you and Caiden replied, “Ok then hand me your plate back.” Which I happily did as my appetite was ruined. I told the waiter I work in Corporate IT and that I planned on taking necessary action. Caiden ran back to the table quickly this time and said he wanted to give me a $20 coupon for the next time I come back. I said NO THANK YOU, I’ll never go back! I paid my check and left, I’m not looking for discounts. I WANT SERVICE! I WANT WHAT I ORDERED. The people bussing the tables FAILED, Caiden the manager and his lack of experience in customer service FAILED, so did the cooks because if the specialty is meat and they can’t cook it to the right temperature then why are they there??? Don’t...
