Sandy's Bakery and Catering — Restaurant in Jonesboro

We stopped by here just to see what they had and they had pastries and real Mexican bread (pan). We tried a little bit of everything, it was all fresh and delicious. We tried the conchas (they have vanilla and chocolate), delce de leche pastry (sugared crust with delce de leche filling in a folded pastry), the strawberry and cream pastry (like a slice of cake with layers of crust, strawberry filling, and cream), and an apple pie. These pastry’s had the most flaky, delicate, and soft crunch. My favorite was the strawberry and cream pastry, it was like a toaster strudel on crack. I have been craving this place. We recently had Sandy's Bakery cater our wedding, and we were blown away with how excellent everything was! Not only was the food incredible, but the presentation of the food was beautiful as well. Sandy's Bakery also did a wonderful job of serving the food and drinks, serving cake, and making sure my husband and I were well taken care of! When we wanted to have a private dinner between just us two, Sandy offered to bring us our own special dish to the room where we ate. We were served a huge, beautifully arranged platter of food and treated with such sweet care! And since I don't eat the meat that was served in the dishes she prepared, she even made me my own special pan of pasta to eat! Service: The service could be better, the younger girls who work there are always inviting and polite, but the older women who works there always has a nasty uninviting attitude, doesn’t even bother saying hello or goodbye. Decor: Wish the inside looked a little better! Impressions are so important with customers, so if it doesn’t look inviting and curated on the insides why would a customer think the food is worth trying or if it’s even sanitary for example to eat or that much thought goes into, if the decor is less than exceptional.
