Panera Bread — Restaurant in Joplin

I’ll start off by saying if you’re ordering in the drive-through, I would highly recommend to check your bags for what you asked for, save the trouble. Once we went there and the power went out. That’s not their fault, but when we ordered our food they said they couldn’t make it anymore, but they told us to wait. We had to wait for an hour just for them to figure out that the food was still warm and able to be made, according to the manager. This chain has decent food, but they never have any of it. They are always out of something. When we order at the drive-through, they would have our food but also forget to give certain items to us every time. They would ask us if we wanted a pastry, we would say a couple of cookies would be nice but then they always forget them. Always. We would still be charged. They are always out of a certain bread. I question how is Panera always out of bread? Their specialty is bread. Today it happened again, they were out of exactly what I wanted. The old location was so much better in my opinion, but they always ran out of bread too. Perhaps it’s under different management...

Today was my first time in the new location,It was eye catching, warm and refreshing. I enjoyed the location and my cashier he was so sweet and nice but i had an issue with the manger on duty today. I ordered their chicken and bacon flatbread today and the last thing i was expecting was for their to be tomatoes on it. I told my cashier and he politely apologized for not telling me about that. He got this manger and i let the manger know it wasn't what i was expecting and he rudely asked me " what did i wanted him to do about it." I just asked what could be done about it and he said he could,give me a refund. I told him i was sorry about it and he must of thought I wouldn't hear him because he mumbled under his breath "Yes, i bet you are." There was NO NEED for that. I wasn't rude or nasty about it. I was debating rather to say something or not but given the overall price I paid I did. when i ordered something that's suppose to have chicken and bacon on it but its mostly coveres in tomatoes...

Most seats are hard in the dining area which makes it hard to sit for a ladies lunch for an extended period. The food is always good. Drive through is slow and most employees are friendly. Our order sat on the counter and the employee wasn't willing to check my name. Finally I said that looks like mine she double checked with another employee and started handing it to me. Handed me 2 drinks, no drink carrier, then the bag. I asked for a drink carrier and she said Oh I guess...
