I had the unfortunate experience of visiting what I can confidently say is the worst coffee shop I’ve ever encountered. I ordered a Breve, a latte crafted with rich half-and-half. My anticipation was high—I was hoping for a luscious, creamy drink that would deliver the robust flavor of freshly brewed espresso. Instead, I received a bland, watery concoction barely hinting at coffee. It was genuinely disheartening.
Unfortunately, this shop is situated in a bustling area, attracting many tourists who might settle for mediocre coffee. However, it’s a missed opportunity for the business to thrive by providing quality beverages. They could significantly increase customer satisfaction and overall sales if they only invested in better coffee preparation.
To add to my disappointment, the cash register person was rude. Their demeanor left much to be desired—acting with an air of entitlement as if serving customers was beneath them. It’s important to remember that a bit of kindness goes a long way, especially in the service industry.
