Triangle Club — Restaurant in Juneau

As cruise ship tourists, we try to find the "real" taverns which usually exist beyond the Tanzanite Circles Of Hell immediately after one departs the boat. After passing up the Red Dog (too many damned tourists) we found the Triangle Club to actually be hosting some locals enjoying their tasty adult beverages after work. Nice. The Triangle Club has historical pictures bolted to the walls which add to the "real old bar" look and feel. The female bartenders have the right amount of spunk to keep things interesting, and the prices were probably about average for a tourist area bar. My wife said the women's room had the "point" of their triangle-shaped lot built into their restroom design for efficiency of space. ...

Great service, all the servers we had during the week were friendly and fun. This bar has that chill local feeling. Husband was very impressed with his hotdog. They said they chilli recipe has been passed down for three generations and is made by the nearby restaurant. Bartender was rude and wouldn't even serve my sister water because she was under 21. She actually kicked my sister out and when I took the water outside to her she yelled at me and said you can't have the water outside and threatened to call the cops on me.
