Imperial Grill — Restaurant in Juneau

If you are visiting Juneau, AK stop Imperial Grill and Bar of course. The place awesome they have a DJ and a dance floor. The food and bar are two different entities. However, you are allowed to take your food and eat at the bar or any open table you see available. The grill has a mighty tasty burger, it is called smash burger. Thr patties are homemade. This "saloon" was a great place for a late night bite to eat. Enjoyed the Asada/steak street style tacos, although I suspect the carnitas would have been even better. Enjoyed a local pale ale & cider on tap. Least expensive meal & one if the best we had the three days we were in Juneau. The woman at the food counter was super friendly and patient with her recommendations. The bartender acted as if we were an annoyance to him...he was much more interested in chatting...

Well it's the Imp. Friendly, but not too friendly. I 😘 be the bartenders that have been around forever. Great local spot for a drink in the daytime or early evening. Sort of hellish late on a Friday night. Tots are good. The person working the food counter seemed generally annoyed to be bothered with customers. I almost felt like I should have apologized for ordering food and giving them money. Smash burger was fine, but bottom bun was hard. Should have been better...
