---{ Food }--- ☐ I think I left my appetite in there somewhere ☐ I'd trade my left shoe to eat here again ☐ Not bad, but my taste buds expected a standing ovation ☑ Just like my aunt's cooking - not terrible, not fantastic ☐ I've had more excitement eating dry toast ☐ I've tasted better cardboard

I recently visited Green Room, and while the menu may be limited to burgers and chicken sandwiches, the experience left a positive mark overall. The chicken sandwich I ordered was good - moist and flavorful. The fries were a delight, with a perfect balance of crispiness and seasoning that added an extra layer of satisfaction to the meal. I opted to dine on the patio which was really nice. It provided a relaxed setting, making the meal even more enjoyable. The staff went the extra mile in providing menu suggestions, showcasing a genuine interest in ensuring a positive dining experience for us. This personal touch added a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to the visit. One practical aspect that often goes unnoticed but greatly contributes to a positive experience is parking, and Green Room excels in that department. With plenty of parking available, it eliminates the stress of finding a spot and allows patrons to focus on enjoying their meal. If you're in the mood for burgers or chicken sandwiches, this place is a solid choice. The good food, comfortable patio seating, friendly staff, and easy parking make it a worthwhile spot for a satisfying, reasonably cheap, and hassle-free...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped in for a burger and fries. Since she is gluten sensitive, she got a burger without a bun and a gluten free beer. The bartender was good about this and even mentioned a keto friendly dish since someone related to the owner also has sensitivities. My wife enjoyed everything, but didn't get very many fries. I tried the Breakfast Burger which was very tasty. I had a normal portion of fries that I shared. I tried a flight of their beers they make themselves. I really enjoyed 3 of the 4 and could see myself having a full glass of the three. They have a large beer selection. I wouldn't call this a romantic place and since it doesn't have any windows, you could almost call it a dive, but a fun dive with great burgers is what I would say. Parking is great considering this is in Westport.
On a follow-up visit, I downgraded my 5 stars to 3 (it's okay) and here's why. Although they seem gluten friendly, my wife did have a severe reaction the next day. We are assuming it was due to the frier that cooks a lot more than just fries. We stopped in again since we were going to the improv next door, but this time we just got drinks. Apparently they were understaffed this Valentine's evening since everything took so long with one woman running the bar and also working the seated people. She was clear that they were crazy busy for the number of people in the place (I would say a little more than half full, but plenty of open seats to pick from). Something wasn't clicking with her and still not sure if she was drunk and new or something else. The people we were with enjoyed their food, although not until one of the sandwiches were remade. Apparently jalapeno juice was spilt on the grill top, but not cleaned off before making her sandwich, which gave it a spicy strange taste to it. The rest of our party showed up 40 minutes before the improv was to start and were told that there wasn't enough time to get their food before the show, but they could go into the improv and order, but will need to monitor the door for their food. Since there were only a few tables, attempting to eat something seemed difficult with the limited chair space, so...
Read moreI've been to Green Room B&B several times now and am really preferring it to some of my previous Westport spots. It's a small, almost divey place, kind of away from the rest of the everything.
Their beer selection is really amazing. I've tried a many of new brews there, probably too many. They even have a rotating selection of their own house made beer. The food I've had has always been damn tasty, and it sure hits the spot after a few good drinks. The burgers are superb, they are freshly made and just greasy enough. They remind my of my grandma's, seriously. The fries are the same, hand-cut and a little greasy but good.
I think the only thing negative I can say at all is that sometimes they seem understaffed and they get slammed with customers sometimes and I get grumpy when I have to wait for refills too long. It seems really sporadic but overall they do...
