Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Kansas City

The gentleman who took our order was fantastic. The lady at the window was terrible. She read back our order correctly, 3 coffees and 2 food items we confirmed and put our card in the handheld thing she stuck out the window but wouldn't lower so we could actually see. We mentioned not being able to see due to the angle and glare, she said oh I'm sorry but didn't do anything differently. Got our coffees and 1 food items. She then said they didn't get the scone on the ticket and asked to run the card again, we declined be sure she read our order back and it included the scone. I asked if 3 coffees and 1 food thing was $25 and she had a very condescending attitude and said oh yes ma'am. I told her it was terrible that they took the order, confirmed the order but didn't charge for all of the order ..and she said have a great day and shut the window. My tomato, egg and cheese flatbread was microwaved too long so it's scorching hot in the center and took hard to eat on the edges. Terrible customer service, nasty food,...

I’m very disappointed with how this location's management handled a promised donation for a military reunion event I’ve been organizing. After weeks of discussion, one manager confirmed they’d be donating specific items and asked me to stop by for pickup. I made the drive only to be told by a different manager that the donation had been reduced to brewed coffee—and that I hadn’t been informed of this change. No courtesy call, no explanation, just a complete reversal after 2.5 months of coordination.

This wasted valuable time, fuel, and effort, and more importantly, reflected a lack of respect for commitments made to a veteran community event. Mistakes happen—but failing to notify someone after reneging on an agreement is simply unprofessional and inconsiderate.

What unit? The 442nd Fighter Wing, you know, the A-10 USAF airplanes you often see flying over Arrowhead! This is by far the worst experience that we've had with companies that have donated...

The photos have the drinks in some beautiful glass mugs. Some of the competition actually puts drinks in there when you stay. Caribou did NOT do that, unfortunately. That gets after the presentation. The turtles are fantastic but lose a lot by only coming in those cardboard cups. That’s the reason for the 4 and not a 5 star review. If that doesn’t bother you, consider this top review.

The employees were HUSTLING in there. The owner and manager would be happy so I hope the crew that was working on 13 April of 2024 gets some serious kudos! They deserve it

The hot turtle mocha was banging. 10/10. Must do. Didn’t do any food so I can’t say how it is, but it all looked good and fresh. A few other people eating the pastries seemed to be pleased so take that for what it’s worth.
