Updates: visited this place a week later because it has a check-in offer (25% off for the 1st crepe) on Yelp. And this time I went early before 11am. The quality of service is much much better than the super busy rush hour in holiday. The food quality is much better as well. Sincerely recommend going to here earlier or later than the rush hour. And if there is a long line, go somewhere else and try this place the next time.
I found this restaurant on Google with more than 4.5 review yet it’s not aligned with Yelp review, which has only 4. I was curious about this restaurant and finally visit today. This is holiday lunchtime, the restaurant is super busy. Parking is ok, and the order was actually not bad. I waited in line around 10 min before my order was taken. I got the Bonjour crepe, lobster bisque in a cup, and London fog latte. And after the order, I got a number for dine-in. There’s no rules to find yourself a table, just need to wait for the staff to clean the table then you can occupy the seats at your preferences (and availability). And the dine-in seats in three areas are actually plenty, even it was really busy, I could still find myself a table without a frown. Then it took about 40mins for my latte to be brought on the table, another 10 mins for my ordered meal. There was not really restaurant services but they require you to put the tip upfront. (Pure yourself water, find yourself seats). The food was good I have to admit. The crepe was the kind I would have again, but the cheap and disposable utensil definitely destroyed the “Paris” vibe, if that’s what they try to establish. The lobster bisque was also good but the bread (the texture is like the supermarket prepackaged bread) came with it also ruined the soup… either provide fresh bread or just no bread or other better quality alternatives. The London fog latter was good but not outstanding. Overall, I think this restaurant is a bit overrated on Google. But this is still a nice place to have crepe. ( maybe takeout or order online to enjoy the food in a more comfortable...

There are water stations through out that are self serve. They have breakfast, dessert and savory style crepes that range from classica to flavor combinations that will surely give your mouth a new flare for crepes.
All the crepes are numbered so all you have to do at the" order here" area is explain your number. The cost is fair ranging from 9-12 per crepes. They have salads, soups and smoothies as well as some fresh baked goods If your in the area for a light snack.
I got a couple of drinks the London fog was exquisite. 7.5 out of 10. A tea with a shot of expresso, really sweet.
The brave, was absolutely amazing and our of the best expresso's I've had in kansas city. 9.8.
I ordered 3 crepes. 1 breakfast crepe and 2 dessert crepes.
The breakfast crepe was my fav it was bacon, egg, and maple. A 9 out of 10.
The patriots is supposed to be strawberries, bananas and blueberries..topped with crme and both a vanilla and raspberry sauce. There was zero strawberries and you could tell that it was missing. 2 out of 10, I was extreamly disappointed in this error on their part.
I asked the server host to recomend another dessert crepe I let her know I was not a huge fan of chocolate..what does she do she suggest the most chocolate item on the menu. Au chocolate. Choclate crepe with chocolate creme topped with raspberry sauce and chocolate sauce a chocolate overhaul again not for me 1 out of 10 my taste buds may...
Read moreThis is an honest review. The place isnt bad but it needs some major overhauling. There is an extremely long wait to order your food on the weekend with only one ordering location like a fast-food restaurant. During busy time the line goes out the door. When you pay the give you a receipt with a place to add your tip. But, you havent been served yet. You have to go find your own seat.
The food is decent but there isn't much crepe competition in Kansas City. I think it is just a trendy place for hipsters. They put on the illusion of gourmet and healthy cooking. My wife ordered orange juice and it was poured right from some cheap plastic gallon. It wasn't even a named brand.
The crepes were thick and overdone.
If they would implement a traditional restaurant set up with servers I think it would streamline the experience more. It would also help with tipping. The can still have the order at the bar location for to go meals or people who just want a drink. I think a lot of people walk right past this place because the line. I would concentrate on getting people sat so the line appears shorter. I am sure this will streamline the process and reflect in better tips because of the increased one on one time with the customer.
Personally, we tried it once. We won't be coming back. I am an honest reviewer. I post tons of reviews. If anyone has a question about this review I would love to enlighten them on my opinion. ...
