So, after having a sharp fall out with Blick I was looking for a art supplies store. Now, while I like the one in westport, it is a little too far for me to walk to and catch the bus home on time. A&C supply KC is in the cross roads which is super easy for me to get to. they have a wide selection of goods for almost any form of art. The crew in there is nice and I feel welcome anytime I walk in. Oh, and they always have a nice sale. I have more paper than I can use right now thanks to then lol. Also, they sell t-squares with the acrylic edges for all you old school drafters like myself.

First Fridays is my favorite time to go visit because they have a little art gallery in the back of the store with some dope art on display.

Also if anyone tells you Amazon has better prices they don't know what they are taking about. Support your local artist and art supplies store and shop at Artist & Craftsmen Supply....

I came in here to get my mother who has dementia set up with art supplies because she said she wants to start painting. The little lady that worked in there was so extremely helpful. She set me up with everything I needed and was very concerned about me staying on budget. She spent the whole time with me while I was in the store and was able to help me get everything my mom needed to feel successful as a new artist. Mom was extremely happy with what I got for her and made a beautiful painting right away. This is the new spot for all of my art supplies. This place has the best brands, low prices and selection for artists. There are often sales and every product has a "list price" and "our price" which saves at least a small percentage. I'm always satisfied to find my preferred pens and weights of paper here, a range of choices you won't find at a big box retailer as this is a specialty store. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about art. They'll answer any questions, but you have to go get them. I've never been approached in store.
