Throwback KC — Restaurant in Kansas City

I experienced racism like I did not know was possible! I went to this place, knowing that I was in the minority, as a white woman, but I don't concern myself with such things. Previously, it was pretty much a non issue, save for a couple rude black girls calling me racial slurs. But this time, I was refused the right to sing karaoke over and over again. The DJ would call name after name and skip song after song until the person raising their hand was a black person. I stood directly at the edge of the bar for more than 15 minutes, and the black bartenders helped everyone around me, but not me. I ended up having to go to the end of the bar where a white girl was working to get drinks. This place could be a lot of fun if everyone layed the race card aside. Mistreating people due to skin color is inappropriate, no matter which way...

If I can give zero stars I would. My party spent $800 for a booth and bottle. We was kicked out of our booth because we didn’t buy another bottle. Never in my life have I paid for a booth and got kicked out. They called all of security and caused a huge scene when we refused to give up our booth. Mind you we spent $800 at this establishment. The security was super rude and put there hands on the women and men and kicked us out. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB! So unprofessional and no one informed us that we have to have active bottles when we originally reserved. They are money hungry and will kick you out if you aren’t buying. Avoid this establishment at all cost! My uncle is the mayor of Kansas City and he will definitely hear...

Do not go here if you want music older than 2020 we went waited almost 2 hours and they played stuff I have never heard before.... literally wasted our night I’m so bummed sweet bartenders sweet staff. But I did not know a single song! They don’t even take requests here! Everyone there kept leaving and coming back. People would try to dance but they weren’t playing anything you could dance to. Lots of bars with good music around town! Cool setup terrible music. Music is from 2020 maybe their personal mix? I have never heard a single song in my entire life. Seriously I would’ve been happy with 2000-2010. It’s called throw back but...
