We went here with a few of our couple friends this weekend and it was a fantastic experience. The service was above and beyond. The food was incredibly delicious. All six of us shared several dishes and we were blown away by how good everything was. We had the Mac and Cheese, Jim’s Classic Sliders, Chicken Quesadilla, Buffalo Chicken Sliders, and the Italian Beef Sandwich. Everything was simply to die for! Especially the Mac and the Sliders. Wow. We were not expecting the food at a little inconspicuous “dive bar” to knock our socks off but it totally did. The prices were very reasonable as well. We had a great time playing shuffleboard afterward. The music and atmosphere was very chill and it felt like we walked into a scene from 1987. All around very enjoyable experience and I will be back ASAP. Thanks to the bartender and server that helped us out, you were both so great.

This is BY FAR the best gem in downtown KC I've found!!!! Omg! Hard to find the door, in wolverines wrist...... But several kind gents outside welcomed us to join the club... Upon entering, welcomed into this lil hub of locals, and amazing cuisine.. We ordered the patty melt, (Sunday special) and a Ruben.... Both were so good we switched halves of sandwiches... And killed every drop that hit the plate. Matt was our guide through this mastery, and recommended us the food that put us on this journey. So glad he did! Was the most filling, satisfying, and complete experience imaginable. I'd give them a Michelin star for service, food, atmosphere, and overall welcoming experience. I will drag, lead, or pull anyone I know to this place! Love love love love this joint!!!!! 4... Loves. Never before now.. Thanks Jim's!

If you ever need a little trip back in time, this is your place. All the charm of a 70's basement but with outstanding food and drinks. I am astounded that they still make the seating that was in there, everything was new and shiny, but vintage at the same time. We tried the Italian beef sandwich dipped with provolone of course. It was fantastic- just the right amount of spicy. Also tried the Reuben, yes, the club, yes, the jims sliders, yes, and the pork chop sandwich, YES! That pork chop sandwich was a special surprise. The sides were a little underwhelming, would have liked a beetier beet salad. Friends said the jalapeno slaw was good. Nice finish with the Twinkies and lemon curd! I almost forgot to mention that the drinks were also top notch. Reasonably priced, which was a bonus.

Tried to go to this establishment with a group of about 10 people. Before we could all even get in the door they told us the max party was 6. There were signs posted as well, but I admittedly didn’t see them, and the signs actually said the party limit was 8. There were ZERO other patrons in the bar, and at least 4 visible staff members. The establishment was still open for at least another hour. We left and went to the bar next door, King G. It was crazy to me that they wouldn’t allow 10 patrons into their otherwise empty establishment on a Friday night, as though the staff valued their alone time over 10 paying customers. If you have a group of less than 6, it might be a good spot! Unfortunately I will never know, because I won’t return to an establishment that isn’t interested in serving customers or...
