Sapa Noodle House — Restaurant in Katy

Walked in on Sun afternoon and the restaurant was pretty busy. One of the waitstaff told us to sit at any open table. My son didn't really want to eat noodles on a hot summer day but our favorite restaurant had a long wait so we ended up here.

The waitress came up and she placed our order on the tablet and about 5 mins later the waiter brought out our pho on a rolling cart with side of veggies i.e. bean sprouts (raw and blanched, basil mint,sliced jalapenos, and lime).

I ordered the beef and meatball and son ordered the combo both small size to include fried spring rolls. The broth was decent and flavorful and would be our go to pho place when we feel like eating pho. I am glad that there wasn't too much msg since I didn't have that thirst afterward so I give the pho a pass :)

The fried spring rolls were very good and came out piping hot. The size and the amount of fillings were good as expected.

Overall service was quick and food was hot and fresh.It didn't help when the AC in the restaurant wasn't turned up eating a bowl of noods. When done, paid up front. Eating pho on a hot day when the AC was barely on gave us a good sweat ..this was a reason why one star was...

This is so far my favorite Pho place in Katy!!

The place is clean, bright, and the service is quick and the food steamy!

They have fish sauce on every table, i know is a trivial thing but only old school pho place does this, and if a store survived this long, you know they are doing something right. Even though this location has only been open for 2 years, but the Bellaire location has been open since forever, and if a pho place survived in Bellaire for that long, then you know they are definitely doing something right!

The soup base is flavorful, the msg taste is not that strong; and the beef tendon, to my surprise, does not have any freeze taste (yes, that is a thing, and you can taste it); the tripe is wonderfully tender.

I ordered the combination and my wife orderes the beef shank pho, she got so much meat in her bowl, she can't even finish.

Overall a wonderful place if you enjoy pho, and only pho, because they really don't serve anything else except spring rolls and egg rolls.

I had the large bowl with brisket and rare meat with thick egg noodles. This is the only Pho restaurant near me that doesn't skimp on portions. They give you a perfect portion of meat and noodles, you will leave satisfied. The broth is rich and delicious with the right amount of fat. All of the vegetables taste and look fresh. The temperature of the food was comfortable and ready to eat, and not scalding hot like so many other restaurants.

The interior is modern and has a clean feeling with a large floor space. I also greatly appreciate that they dont play american radio music inside. The aunties speaking vietnamese at a table nearby also added to the comfortable atmosphere.

Be careful with the sauce lids and make sure they are screwed on tight before use. The sriracha bottle lid at my table fell off and dumped an uncomfortable amount of sriracha into my fathers food. I didn't like their plastic chopsticks, the noodles slide off too easily compared to bamboo chopsticks.
