Ran in to buy myself two cans of chew at 8:40 on 9-3-25 was the only one in the store when I entered. The gentleman rang me up and I gave him a $20 bill he did have proper change in the register and could not operate the safe to get change. After 2-3 minutes he left to find someone, leaving the change drawer wide open. Returned with another employee she then mumbled some words and walked off. After 2-3 more minutes he leaves again leaving change drawer wide open again and by now I have 6-8 customers waiting behind me, returns with another employee. He then gets change from the safe ($5’s) what he was missing. Then proceeds to count back a $5 dollar bill twelve dimes and a nickel 🤔 I told him I would prefer a $1 dollar bill in place of the dimes and was told he didn’t have one🤦🏻♂️ So I would say management at this location has totally FAILED at training employees how to properly operate a register and give back change, starting with the basics NEVER leave a register drawer open and unattended!! I left 9-11 minutes later with my pocket...
Read moreThe old, long haired, gray haired woman working as a cashier is absolutely horrendous. I waited in line behind a customer, when the customer walked away I asked politely if she could deliver toilet paper to the men’s restroom because my husband was in there and there was none available to him. She stared at me for at least 5 seconds with a stank look on her face and then said “okay?” Waited around, took her sweet time fidgeting with something and then walked around the store. I followed her to ensure my husband would receive the toilet paper and after a lap around the store she finally went to grab some and walked into the bathroom. The bathrooms were disgusting, the customer service is atrocious and I understand why Kearney has a bad reputation. She shouldn’t even have a job working with pleasing people if she’s going to be nothing but rude and unpleasant! Fire this woman. We are paying customers who will no longer be...
Read moreI dont own or manage a gas station. That said, a good way to judge failure at operating a gas station is running out of gas. How do you run out of two types of fuel on one of the busiest travel time of the year. Bathroom was laid out terribly. To get into one of stalls, you had to swing the door past anyone standing at the urnal. Line out the door but one of the fixtures was not being used because it was inaccessible. Also, typical Caseys where there is multiple registers, and several employees but only one guy helping customers. Line was 10 people deep but that didn't appear to bother any of the employees standing over by the pizza part...
