I placed an order with Jimmy John’s for a box of sandwiches for my son’s birthday party. When I arrived to pick them up, I was told the order was for the wrong day—which I never selected. They claimed they had called me, but I never received a single call, voicemail, or text. The manager flat-out refused to make the sandwiches or help fix the mistake, telling me they “didn’t have time.”
Mind you, this was for my child’s birthday party—and we were left without food for our guests. My husband ended up going back down there a half hour later, desperate to get something together for our son’s special day, and somehow they were able to make the sandwiches for him—but made him repay for the entire order.
I later called to get a refund on the original box sandwiches we never received, and they refused. I even spoke with the district manager Matt at the Kenmore location who brushed it off as “your word versus the manager’s.” Seriously? After spending hundreds of dollars at this location over the years, this is how you treat loyal customers?
Never again. Not only was your team rude and unhelpful, but the lack of accountability was unbelievable. Jimmy John’s lost a customer for life. Below I attached pictures that I am signed up for text message alerts that I never received and my two charged transactions for sandwiches we didn’t get. I tried everything with them and they...
Read moreI travel a lot and post reviews of restaurants across the USA. I rarely do a sandwich shop, let alone in my hometown.
We ordered on a rainy Wednesday night using their easy mobile order website. We actually placed the order from the McDonald's parking lot as McDs app was down again and I ain't going back.
I arrived quickly and the team was still making our two sandwiches.
I looked around and found the location to be very clean, everywhere. Windows, door mats, tables, tile, kitchen, beverage machine... impressive. I was the only customer there and talked with Brandon. He told me my order wasn't done yet but gave me my drink cup.
I remarked how clean the store was and chatted with team - they couldn't be a nicer crew. Kudos to the owner, a great team of Brandon, Jay, and Emily.
We had a Little John #4 and a Billy Club. They added chips as a welcome as a new customer for no cost. Fresh soft bread, cold fresh ingredients all wrapped perfectly. I planned to eat half of my sandwich... I ended up eating the whole thing. YUM!
I'm impressed with the location, the team, the prices were good value for these high quality sandwiches - what a nice surprise. This is my go-to sandwich place from now on!
5 out of 5,...
Read moreUpdate: visited again a few days ago and service levels were back to normal. Greeted promptly, sandwiches made quickly, no issues. Thank you for correcting the service.
When my wife arrived the cashier was leaned against the counter, facing away from her. After a wait the other crew members informed him that he had a customer, to which he said “I know. (Turned around) You ready?” After ordering the sandwich artist started the first sandwich and the wrap, after a few ingredients had been added, the artist removed her gloves and announced that she had to use the restroom. The crew challenged her, saying she needed to finish her job, she reasserted that she needed to use the restroom, which is fair. However the rest of the crew stood by idle waiting for her to return. After her return there was also a crew member stocking the cold bar without gloves, while there was no visible contact it was a bit disconcerting. She was offered neither a bag nor napkins. We do NOT typically complain or report concerns, but today’s experience was so for off of what we have enjoyed from your chain, that after discussing it we thought we should raise the awareness of the lack of professionalism and urgency that has kept us as...
