BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! My wife and I come to this Chili's location almost every 2 weeks. Staff members are always nice and friendly and the environment is great. With that being said, no matter how good a place is, sometimes all it takes is for One Bad Apple to spoil a bunch. The hostess was very friendly and escorted us to our table to which we met our server Haley. She seemed friendly like the rest of the staff but soon all of that changed. First, she brought our drinks to the table, but forgot our daughters drink. No big deal, it happens. It took her a few minutes to grab it but she did. Next she forgot the straws. Again, no big deal it happens. She returned with the straws and took our orders. My wife asked Haley was it possible to bring our daughter's kids meal out with the appetizers and she said yes. We waited longer than normal for the food, which was surprising because the place was practically empty, but it was okay because we were having a good time. The appetizers finally arrived but there was no kids meal. When my life nicely asked Ms Haley about it, she replied sarcastically, "you never told me you wanted the meal with the appetizers" I specifically heard my wife tell Haley this but but she continued to try and debate that she wasn't told. After huffing and puffing about it, she went back to the back to let the cook know. She eventually returned with the kids meal and said to be patient with her because she was the only server and was sorry that we had to wait. That's understandable but waiting for the food was not the problem. Finally after a long wait, the guy from the back brought out our food not Haley. Time to eat but there's just one problem. My wife's food was missing. When Haley finally returned to the table, we explained that my wife's meal was missing. She then looked at us with a dazed look and said with an attitude, "You didn't order anythig". ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????? I explained that I heard my wife order a meal staring directly at you and you acknowledged. My wife even pointed out the meal she wanted to her. Haley then sarcastically replied, " I don't respond when people point at things on the menu." I told her my wife said what she wanted and pointed to it. She continued to say no and make sarcastic remarks. Now, we are very aggravated with this place. Again, she huffed and puffed and went back to the back to tell the cook. It was so obvious that she either forgot or wasn't paying attention. How could I possibly eat my food with my wife sitting there hungry and upset. After waiting what seemed like 15 minutes for salmon, the manager tried to smooth things over by not charging for my wife's meal which was a nice gesture but the experience was already ruined. When it finally arrived, we took it to go and left. My wife did not even want to eat it out of fear of the food being tampered with or spit in because of how Haley was acting. So let's tally things up with Ms Haley.
She forgot my daughter's drink. She forgot the straws. She forgot to bring my daughter's meal out with the appetizers. She forgot my wife's order.
Notice any pattern? The problem was not waiting for the food, but the fact that she would not accept responsibility for forgetting the orders and deciding to blame my wife instead. And on top of all of that, not once did she return to the table and asked if I wanted a drink refill. Add that to the list. Again, we've never had a problem coming to this location but we're not sure if we will ever be going back. I would suggest they train Ms Haley in customer service and etiquette because her attitude was...
Read moreThe TWO of us spent over $100.00 on tasteless food, weak drinks, and pathetic service. If the Chili’s franchise wants this location to succeed, they will replace the entire staff eminently! I was warned from friends prior to dinning here not to even bother. We did not have a great experience our first visit, but being someone who worked their way through college by serving, I decided to give them a second shot. JOKES ON ME! Our 2p.m dining experiences went as so There was maybe 10 guest in the facility all of us were crammed into a convenient section near the kitchen. My fiancé and I were placed at an uncomfortable two-man table. Our alcoholic beverages arrived watered down. After our appetizer, we had to force the dirty dishes into the servers hand for her to get the point to take them away. Our second round of overpriced drinks arrived. The empty glasses from our first round were still sitting on the table. The server did not have the brain capacity to pick them up; the three servers that walked past looked down at me holding dirty dishes in my lap did not have the common sense required to take them to the kitchen. Finally, I gave up and put the dishes on the floor. Again MULTIPLE servers passed by and then….The MANAGER! She rolled by, and yes I used the word rolled to stress the point of the laziness this location portrays. She rolls by goes to the table directly across from us and ignores the multiple dishes sitting on the floor. I then shoved the glasses and plates to the center of the isle the hostess almost STEPS over them, decides to bend down and get them and then has the nerve to never acknowledge me as I’m trying to tell her I’m sorry and explain why they are in the middle of the isle. Our server never followed up on with the $150.00 in gift cards we had originally asked for. – Longhorn thanks you for the gift cards we purchased. No one bothered questioning why little to none of our food was touched. – Your food was bland and not worth taking home to the dog, which is why no to go boxes were requested for the untouched $35.00 dollar meals. The dishes on the floor was never addressed. – An absolute disgrace for an empty restaurant to have such slack in their service and management. I am not saying the restaurant business is a cakewalk, but come one people! This place is a total joke and a bad one at that.
I do not want your apologies nor discounts. I want you to put the management in place that will make this...
Read moreHey so we’ve been coming here awhile but tonight was just awful. It took our waiter 20 min just to bring drinks and queso and we were sitting right next to the kitchen. I’m not one to complain but it looked like management did not have control over their employees while guest were eating. What really set me off was the dust and lint on this sign. The fact that bits and pieces of dust were getting in my drink and food really made us feel disgusted. No telling how long that sign has been cleaned. I work in the cleaning industry and this is not to standard. If you were eating at this table you would have felt the same way. Last but not least the waiter who brought us our food accidentally knocked over my fiancé’s margarita, spilling it all over her lap. He proceeded to get a towel in which he just brought her and walked away. At what point in time is that ok . The right thing to do is apologize and clean up the mess you made and have some hospitality. But no my fiancé had to clean up the mess herself and had sticky hands our whole meal. When asked for napkins to wipe off her hands from the spilt drink it took till we were done eating which was another 20 min. I know this is a lot but man. This is probably the worst dinning experience I’ve ever had . The staff needs to have communication and management needs to manage . Needless to say I would need some convincing to ever come back to this Chili’s. The fact that my night turned from a peaceful meal to a ruined night really set it off ....
