Hey, so I am very excited about the very first Portillos opening in Georgia. I cannot wait. I need to know the grand opening date so I can be there front and center ?? This hits home for me because I am from Chicago Illinois and Portillos was my first JOB EVER . I've requested from my hometown Portillo's corporate team that it be a Portillo's open in Georgia that was like 4 years ago since I moved to Atlanta. I was born and raised in the Chicago area and old enough to remember going to the original dog house in Villa Park and that’s when I first met Dick Portillo at the age of 7. My father did some remodeling for Dick when he opened his first brick and mortar store, an old A&W I believe it was. I had been going to Portillo’s ever since. I miss my Portillo’s when we moved to Georgia 8 years ago and only get it maybe every other year, so depressing. I gave this restaurant all ones because it doesn't exist and I'm wondering why is it even on Google for views. Last year I was excited to tell my family that Portillos was coming to Georgia just to find out they haven't even started building. I'm from Chicago and I always go to Portillos because hands down the food is 😋😋😋.
