My wife and I decided to check this place out on a Thursday night and it was a great decision. You are welcomed as soon as you walk in the door like you are welcomed into someone's home. The entire staff wears two-way radios so everyone is on cue from bringing chips and salsa as soon as you get to your table, to placing you order, to receiving your order just 5 minutes later. We got the Chimichunga Fajita, which was wonderful, along with the standard sides you get in a Mexican Restaurant - refried beans, rice, quac, and small salad. The entree was big enough for us to share. And we had the fried ice cream for dessert. Besides the great food and service, it's the staff that makes it all worthwhile to make the trip to Shelbyville KY. The manager, Fabian, gives personal attention to all of his guests, always there with a sincere handshake and a pat on the back and runs the operation like tightly run ship, yet treats his staff in a fatherly fashion, and his team gets along just like family, smiling, laughing, joking. I recently tried their carne asada and margaritas, and let me tell you, I was blown away by the flavors and quality of the food. The carne asada was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, tender and juicy with just the right amount of char. It was served with all the traditional fixings like rice, beans, and fresh salsa.

The margaritas were also a hit - strong, refreshing, and made with top-notch tequila. I couldn't get enough of them!

DISSATISFIED WITH PEPPERS 🫑 🌶️ I called this place for the first time to place an order for pick up and the person who answered the phone told me that this restaurant was not a Mexican restaurant, and that they do not serve burritos?!🤦🏻‍♀️ The phone number that is online goes to a voicemail that has not been yet set up. I told her I was gonna drive up and show her the website and the menu that I had in front of me to show her the error in their menu but then I decided that it’s not worth my time to drive over there to order food, then. wait for it, then drive back home to have dinner.
