Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Kerrville

I love their waffle & maple syrup egg, cheese & sausage sandwich. Their drinks are pretty fair too. I have one complaint though. They made my iced vanilla chai tea the wrong way one day... then tried to charge me for another one. Someone there had made an iced coffee (very bitter) instead of my iced vanilla chai tea. They basically didn’t believe me and a couple or more of their employees got an attitude with me. The guy at the window (on second try!) said this one would have to work because it was getting pretty expensive to keep making them. I was thinking WTH! It’s very expensive for me too since I paid more than $6 or $7 for my drink only to have them mess it up not once, but three times! The crazy thing is I always order the iced vanilla chai tea at Scooter’s & Starbucks and it’s always made correctly. I’m not sure if someone going through training made it and got confused.... but that was definitely NOT an iced vanilla chai tea!!! And then to tell me I would have to pay for another one to be made!!! (Starbucks never does that! They will make it until they get it right! These drinks are pricey for customers to not receive what they ordered.) I know my chai tea. And that was an iced coffee!!! So... needless to say they almost lost a good customer with the attitudes!!! I go there almost daily sometimes so they really messed up treating a customer like that. I’ll give them 3 stars since it was their mistake and their bad attitude. Shame on you, Scooters...

Saw they opened today and swerved on in, got a large sugar free iced caramel latte, twas delish. They have more sugar free options than Starbucks, which is a plus, also love that they're open Sundays, which seems to be a rare find in Kerrville. Can't wait to go back and try the other sugar free flavors. My only recommendation would be to add the option of all heavy cream or all half and half instead of the milks to make it true low carb/keto (and maybe it is, I didn't ask, but didn't see the option anywhere on the menu). Went here this morning with a friend, I got the mocha blended and she got a coffee cold brew. So good! Also they personalized everything so much, like instead of saying, ok go ahead and pull to the window, they say " alright, go ahead and scoot on up" it was so cute and unexpected me and my friend started laughing. Then we get to the window and the guy was very nice and funny. After leaving I noticed my friends cold brew had a smiley face sticker, and I was like they didint put one on mine! And she was like yeah it's on the other side. I will be going back!...
