Southernmost Pint Brewpub - Blast Beer Company Brewery — Restaurant in Key West

Wow!!!!!! My wife and I were so very lucky to stumble upon this 1 of a kind lil brewery. First, i will start off with the owners (Lindsay and Tadd) and staff (Amy, Annie, Frankie and Jeff). Incredibly AMAZING and welcoming!! From the moment we stepped inside we were immediately welcomed with a smile and a very brief, yet thorough, rundown of all 18 beers made in house on tap (they also have wine and a few other choices). Second, they also have a food menu, with many GF options and Vegan options. I have zero dietary restrictions, however i always find it extremely kind when any establishment has options for ALL. So thank you for that ❤️ Third, the beer tasted absolutely fantastic. And get this, they let you sample each and every one (if you like) so you dont have to chance liking it or not before buying a pint. Yet another very kind gesture!! Fourth, they have very cool swag from stickers to hats to shirts and pants. Lastly, they have FREE freshly made popcorn!!! The popcorn is also uniquely made with their personal twist of seasonings. And not only is it FREE but it's unlimited to as much as one desires. Hahaha i found that after an eight hour visit i had many bowls 😉 it is so yummy!

I recently visited Blast Brewery in Key West, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for a fantastic evening. The brewery has a great selection of craft beers, each one brewed with creativity and care. I highly recommend trying the Hazy IPA; its refreshing flavor perfectly captures the essence of the Keys. There is also a wide selection of styles making it perfect for any taste palate.

The brewery also offers a cozy tasting room with plenty of seating, making it an ideal spot to relax with friends. The patio added to the ambiance, creating a laid-back vibe that made me want to stay longer.

The beer tender was nice enough but I ordered vegan chili cheese fries and was served real meat! After ordering the plant based option, I double checked when she brought it to the table and asked if it was vegan. She said yes! Then after the fact she was trying to show me on the handheld POS that that they have vegan chili served with cornbread but no vegan chili cheese fries.. when it was on the menu. I am disgusted and morally hurt. The only resolution that came from this was not paying for the fries? The beer was good and surprisingly gluten free friendly but it’s more than a shame to offer vegan items and not be knowledgeable about it.
