Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills

I received horrible service from this store on the evening of 6.11.16. Pizza was ordered at 9:07. Several aspects of the order needed to be repeated multiple times, including the actual order, a good contact phone number and the address to be delivered to. They stated that it should arrive in about 30 minutes. Due to the vacation rental being a condo, a phone call was expected from them upon arrival. After roughly 35 minutes, I meandered downstairs to wait. After another 10 minutes, I contacted the store to check on the status. The girl who initially took the order acted like she knew nothing of the order. I then spoke to the manager, Anthony. He was very rude and tried to place the blame on the order not being delivered on me, when it was his employee who screwed up the phone number. He said he would not make fresh pizzas and that I could either take what was made or cancel the order. I told him to just have them sent back out, to which he replied they would be delivered in a few minutes. After another 15 minutes of waiting, I called back again and spoke to Anthony. He said he had just checked the pizzas, which had been sitting under a heat lamp for roughly 45 minutes, and that they were no good and he was preparing fresh ones. He couldn't estimate a delivery time, so I continued to wait so there would be no supposed missed delivery again. After an hour and a half of the placement of the original order, I finally received my pizzas, which were almost burnt, by the way. I was charged full price as well. I recommend potential customers to be wary of this location as the staff and management appear to be dimwitted, though the employee who actually delivered the pizzas seemed competent enough. If I could give it a zero I would. It kept refusing to let us order to this location online. I called and spoke to a worker and ordered 5 pizzas.They told me roughly 20 mins til it would be ready. I get there literally 23 minutes later ,and they have a closed sign on the door and wouldn't answer the door. I called 4 times, the worker finally answered and said we closed at 9pm due to staffing(even though I had just ordered and their hours online say til 12am). I told him that I had just ordered 20 mins ago and spoke to him and repeated what he had confirmed when I ordered. He said well it didn't go through, to which I replied then why didn't you call us back. Then he claimed they never had an order from us at all. I told him that was a lie that I had literally spoken to him, and he just kept trying to claim that they had no orders in their system. Late night, long day, we (8 of us) are starving...service call was great, she took my order hooked me up with the deal going on and saved me quite a bit. Drive to pick up order (45 minutes away) they tell us everything is there, get back to the house, and we are missing a sub sandwich. No big deal, we call them asking is we can just get another sub tomorrow when we pass through. The manager said "No, it has to be within the same day", well, we are forever away it's 9:30 by now, gas is too expensive, we aint going back tonight. We asked if we could get a refund? Manager says "I'm not refunding a whole meal for one sandwich," we say "No, just refund the sub, the rest of the food was perfect." Still a no, VERY rude, insinuated that we were lying, that we had the sandwich and we just wanted money.

Now I LOVE Domino's!! I will order their pizza every time I go to a place that offers it, but this store....it's a NOPE for...
