Terrible Customer Service Experience
I have always been a loyal Starbucks customer, and I have never experienced such poor service as I did today. The two employees who assisted us were incredibly unprofessional, and in particular, Kattya (or Kaksia) was extremely rude to both my daughter and me.
Starbucks is not just selling coffee; it is also selling an experience and good customer service—something customers are willing to pay for when it's done right. However, this encounter left a very bad impression. If Starbucks wants to maintain its reputation, it should be more careful with the employees it hires.
This was truly a disappointing experience, and I hope the company takes action to ensure better service...
Read morePleasant, helpful staff here who made a good tasting coffee that wasn't too hot (by the time I was able to drink it; sans mask, back in my car). I asked for an extra shot in a Grande, and the coffee didn't taste very strong, so I'm unsure if it went in, but I was just glad that it didn't taste burnt. It's so easy to froth the milk a little bit too long, or leave the crema dripping for too long (I've learnt from using our espresso machine at home), which can make the coffee bitter, or the milk burnt. The baristas are always so friendly, they go above and beyond to make my drink - and my kids' drinks - special, and my lattes just taste consistently good here (can be hit-or-miss at some of the other local shops). I'm a frequent customer at many Starbucks, but this is the only one where the baristas always greet me with a smile and know my drink (and don't have a problem with my quirky requests).
