May 2025 Update: Years ago, I used to frequent this location at least once a month (or more) so I knew the layout and what to generally expect of the dining experience. I do truly hope my recent visit was a total negative fluke and not the norm, as that would indicate this location should close completely. The young gentleman at the register expressed dissatisfaction that no gratuity/tip had been added for the pre-paid charges. After putting some pasta in a bowl, I approached the pizza area and discovered there was only a total of three on the line, and each was missing about half of the slices. One didn't look appetizing, so I got two sliced of the buffalo chicken. I placed my food on the table and went to get my drink. The was unsweet iced tea readily available, so that was a very good thing. When I picked up a slice of the pizza it found it to be surprisingly cooler than room temperature, which would seemingly be impossible. Almost immediately I could see that several new pizzas were being put on the serving table. I grabbed a new fresh plate and got a few fresh slices. When I went to the end where I'd acquired my original slices, I put my hand on the warming table and found . . . nothing. No heat whatsoever. That explained my first pieces. I hated to waste food, but I discarded the original slices. The new ones were much fresher and hotter but not very tasty. The salad area looked clean, and there was frost around the top edges of the container that holds all the items, so temperature was not an issue. There was not a good amount of iceberg lettuce, and what was there was very wilted. The croutons and black olives were great. The dressings were being maintained rather well too. There were two team members who occasionally made sure the area of discarded plates and trash wasn't too messy, but I didn't see any of them busing the tables, and several tables did need that in a big way. I can't recommend this location to others. Their 'saving grace' is the amount of tourist traffic of the neighboring hotels, but that only gets you business that won't...
Read moreOf all the cicis restaurants that I have been (and I've been to most of them on the east coast of the U.S.), this by far is the worst that I have ever been!! Where do I begin?? I dont mind the crowd given that it sits down the road from Disney, but the way the dining room looked, was atrocious!! The cashier on the evening I visited, didn't seem to care too much as to servicing me, and when I went up to order a specialty pizza, a taller, African American gentleman made me seem it was against the law to have an all vegan pizza with no cheese given I desired all the veggies but was told to only pick four. In the meantime of waiting for my pizza, I managed to have about three helpings of the appetizer salad before 30 minutes went by of not having my pizza yet! After another fifteen minutes of visiting the restroom and playing an arcade game or two, I went to inquire about my order. The staff behind the counter that night (Wednesday, June 19 of this post) didn't even acknowledge my existence! It took me to go back to the cashier and ask for my money back only for the cashier to have to ask her manager of that shift that night to finally acknowledge my existence. All of it only to get my money back and the worst service experience for a cicis!! I honestly didnt want my money back, I wanted to eat there and enjoy an all servicing buffet experience! I'm a low maintenance gentleman that just desires to be serviced like any other gentleman or family would, and trust me, Ive worked in the food and beverage service before so I know what it's like and how busy it can tend to be, but there wasn't an excuse for the lack of service I was treated that day and may even go to corporate as to this...
Read moreHorrible! Not a huge complainer however, somethings need to be said. I sarted off with ordering and nothing out of the ordinary happend until we got to the drinks. They offer no water unless you order bottled water, even though they have a fountain machine, and you guessed it if you finished the bottle water no refills. Unfortunately I still decided to press through and get some food in my belly. I started off with a salad which is simple enough and to my absolute astonishment when I asked for cheese they said they have parmesean cheese, when I said it's for my salad they said they don't have cheese. I looked in the workers eyes and said how does all the mozzarella get on the pizza then. I was responded to with that's policy. I asked for tomatoes for my salad, yep you guessed it no tomatoes either. So lets try the pizza, right here yoi have to make sure you wipe the water soaked plate before you start scooping pizza of the bar. As for the pizza the bar was stacked, with double the same pizzas. Two pineapple and hams, two pepperonis, two cheeses, two breakfast pizzas. Not trying to complain but I figured since most the time when you take care of the people collecting your money (tipping), they make an effort to take care of you. Not the case here. Which by in large isn't a huge problem, I don't expect miracles just decent serive. Just a warning to all who decide to give tip to the card swiper who obviously doesn't have your best interests in mind. Let alone the "Policy" of the store. Overall pass, yes I know it's cheap and quick, which on vacation may just be the thing you need depending on what activities you are between or crisis you are trying...
