First and last time going here. We were seated in the back corner near the restrooms as if we were back in segregation times. By the time my French toast came everyone at the table had eaten. The waitress was picking up dishes and dropped a spoon on my husband's leg which splashed jelly on his shorts and leg. The waitress didn't say sorry excuse me or anything. When the bill came I had to tell her the check was split. Normally with any parties over 2, you are asked when you are seated how will the check be split. We asked for 2 boxes which she bought out last yet I asked for the boxes and to have the check split together. She bought the check out first. I noticed on my bill $5.49 for bacon. I asked what that charge was for, she said for the side of bacon. When the waitress took my order she asked if I wanted bacon or sausage which I thought was included. Had I known I had to pay for it I wouldn't have ordered it. The waitress said she gave me a $5.00 discount because my food was late. The $5.49 charge for the bacon cancelled the $5 credit. My granddaughter ordered the kids plain pancakes meal when her food arrived she had chocolate chip pancakes instead. The entire order was messed up. The waitress never asked if we wanted refills. We got a real racial vibe. I definitely wouldn't be returning or recommend this place to anyone. First Watch was the last time. It was a waste of time and money. Then they added a 20% gratuity charge to pay by app. Had I been asked when I paid at the register how everything was I would have told everything about the terrible service. I wasn't asked. Don't eat here unless you want to experience...
Read moreWhen this location opened up, I was ecstatic, it's the only really close breakfast place, and the food was consistently amazing. Something in the last year really changed though. The million dollar bacon was absolutely my favorite thing and a must order every time, and now it's so inconsistent. It's sometimes burnt, has almost none of the syrup or seasoning, or tastes like it might have been sitting there for a while. Pancakes suddenly are dry and tasteless unless loaded with butter. Food isn't fresh, and while sometimes hot, it has that texture as if it was precooked and sitting under a heat lamp.
I decided to give them another shot. It was 11:30 on a Tuesday, and while it wasn't empty, there were quite a few empty tables but it seems like they don't staff enough people. I sat at the bar and immediately ordered the million dollar bacon, which after 15 minutes, the server at the bar asked if I got it yet, which I hadn't. I ordered one of the juices from their juice bar menu, and never got received it (but they put it on my check at the end and had to ask them to remove). The server who's supposed to be attending the bar was rarely seen behind the actual bar, as if they're being stretched too thin. It just doesn't seem worth the high prices anymore.
It honestly feels like the cliche story that eventually happens to every great restaurant that starts growing and chaining out. Prices go up, quality goes down, just one more money making machine not worth going to if you actually have any interest in quality...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at First Watch with my husband and it was an amazing experience! We decided to sit at the bar area and the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our first visit to the restaurant a memorable one.
Now, let's talk about the food! We tried the Morning Meditation Fresh Juice and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy. It was refreshing and energizing, the perfect start to our meal.
For our entrees, we ordered the Chickichanga and Classic Benedict and both dishes did not disappoint. The Chickichanga was a masterpiece, with whipped eggs, spicy all-natural chicken breast, chorizo, green chilies, cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions, and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. The Vera Cruz sauce and all-natural sour cream added the perfect finishing touch. The Classic Benedict was also exceptional, with poached cage-free eggs and smoked ham on toasted ciabatta, covered in hollandaise sauce. The lemon-dressed organic mixed greens on the side were a fresh and healthy addition.
Overall, our experience at First Watch was amazing. The food was of high quality and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great breakfast or...
