I've had two experiences at this location. I'm staying locally at a hotel nearby and have gone two days in a row. The first day, I ate inside the location. It was different than other McDonald's I've seen, the decor was updated, the counter where you are normally greeted by staff to take your order appeared to be more of a food drop off area, in fact there wasn't even a menu on the wall to look at. It was almost like a to-go McDonald's. I used the kiosk to order my meal, sat down, and waited for my food to be brought to my table. I ordered nuggets with dipping sauces and a cheeseburger. Pretty standard, nothing too fancy. Once my order was brought to the table, I noticed my dipping sauces were missing. I also noticed my cheeseburger had no cheese after my first bite. So before I could actually eat my food I had to go stand up at the order counter, where nobody stands anymore or notices you unless you yell for help or if you're like me just stand there for as long as it takes for someone to notice you. In the meantime, upset inside your head that your fries are officially getting cold, gross, your sprite slushie drink is melting...you get the idea. So I waited, finally someone from the kitchen noticed me, took my hamburger and promised it would become a cheeseburger. Oh and gave me my dipping sauces for my now cold nuggets. I do understand things happen. Overall, food was mid, mostly due to it being cold and me having to stand at the counter to wait to get my order corrected. Bottom line, I'm not completely opposed to this new age way of doing things at McDonald's. Use the kiosks, make us work for our orders, same at the grocery store check out your own stuff as if you were employed yourself. My gripe tho, if I put in the work at the kiosk, adding my two types of dipping sauces for 20 nuggets, ensuring I'm selecting 'cheese'burger etc..then your only job is to make it and add a couple packets of sauces to my tray, then please double check yourselves and get it right. I felt like I had to work hard my my subpar little meal. Put the sauces out where folks can easily access them or have a camera with some sort of alerting system at your front counter so folks don't have to wait long to correct your orders. When you deliver the meal to the table, bring sauces as a choice with you like Whataburger does. Something, anything. Day 2: I decided to just go through the drive through. Experience was decent. Ordered another cheeseburger, this time I added bacon. Drive back to my hotel. Again, lol cheese was missing and also the bacon. I just laughed to myself. Yes, you pay extra for bacon, but those two sad little pieces weren't worth the gas to drive back. It appears this location has an issue with reading orders, paying attention to detail, and their kitchen. Oh, and im not sure who in the back hates cheese, but cheese is your friend. I won't be back since it seems like I can't just get what I order without correction and it being a hassle. Good...
Read moreAs someone who works in customer service and someone who worked in McDonald’s before, the amount or rudeness in refusing to to acknowledge a paying customer was beyond me. I purchased a simple ice cream cone at a terminal that did not accept cash so I went to the counter to pay accordingly. While I , Yahaira was assisting another customer and it seemed like her pos went down. As she tried to assist and trouble shoot for him, she made eye contact a few times and smiled. I took that as a sign of kindness and decided I would leave a review but it was initially for what I thought would be a kind interaction. When she finished with the gentleman, she proceeded to go to the back. She passed the I’ll view multiple times and made eye contact with me but never acknowledged me or the others waiting on her. Instead she continued to stay in the back and never even attempted to let everyone know she’d “be there shortly”. I called to the back asking of anyone was available to take my payment for my order and no one replied. An associate called out to Yahaira informing her that people were waiting on her and still she didn’t respond. Instead her other manager (or lead) peeked to see and he also continued with our acknowledging anyone in the lobby. I know it can get hectic and crazy but they were not under such conditions. It would have taken her all of 3 seconds to reply but instead she chose to ignore. Says a lot about her character and unfortunately her lack of maturity. Customer service is customer service no matter where you go. Yahaira, you could have responded. Then this would have been a 5 star review. Guess I had too much faith in your...
Read moreIf there was an option for 0 stars I would have chosen it. Horrible service, sub par food, long wait times.
We arrived around 12:30 p.m. to be met with a long line in the drive through which isn’t surprising considering the location. The wait time to the window wasn’t unbearable. As we approached the menu and began to order, we gave the number for our mobile app and 20% off coupon. They confirmed with our name. As we approached the window to pay, our total came out surprisingly high (didn’t even tell us the total at the first window). So, we asked if the coupon was applied. The worker asked us if we had given the code prior, and when we said yes, went to get the manager. He came to talk to us and the first thing he said was, “You didn’t tell the worker the code.” Didn’t even ask us, just made the snarkiest comment assuming WE were in the wrong. Then he says that our new total is 45$, which didn’t make sense because our original price was 50$. If my math is correct 20% off of 50$ is not 45$. So we tried to ask him if he was sure that was the right total with the coupon of 20% off. He says and I quote, “ well that’s what it’s gonna be today.” Im sorry sir but I don’t think you have the power to change the laws of math. So as we began to check again if the total was right he says a mixture of relax, calm down, and “ I know you have had a long day.” We we’re not aggressive, mean or rude, just confused, and not getting a clear answer. After that whole fiasco we reach the food window only to wait another 10 minutes.
And on top of all of that, the...
