Pollo Tropical — Restaurant in Kissimmee

Hispanic run businesses already have a reputation for horrible customer service, but this place is the worst. All of the employees look miserable serving food and taking orders. The lines in door and at drive through are out the door and they move at a slow pace. I saw an employee handle trash and then prepare food to serve customers. This place is unsanitary and does not care about food safety. This place is surely not following rules and guidelines and has poor management. This place consists of rude employees providing rushed careless service. Employees are talking bad about customers in the kitchen where they still can be heard. All of the employees are Hispanic and the only one that speaks English is the one taking orders. None of the other employees speak or understand the English language. It is very frustrating that MOST (not all) Hispanic people come to this country expecting everyone to stoop down to their native language. They are very bold and rude coming to America expecting people to stoop down and speak Spanish. English is the official language of America and if they have jobs they should be able to speak it or have their green cards revoked like President Trump is...

I ordered food to be delivered by doordash. Everything went very smooth until I got the order. I had ordered 1 tropichop w different sauces and fried plantains and a flan. There were no platains,no flan, and none of the sauce. To top it all no silverwear. I called Pollo Tropical customer service and they could not help me they gave me the number of the location to fix my problem with them. Called Pollo Trropical store and after a whole hour trying to get to someone I gave up. Worse customer service ever encountered. Those people have to check on their employees. As for the employees who prepare thee order should be retrained, I ordered food believing everything requested was going to be there and it was.very frustrating to realize that half of requested items were not delivered. Pollo Tropical owner has to realize that there a many, many Hispanic places that serve the same type of food and their service is much better. I chose you guys because of the closeness. Horrible experience at this restaurant, earlier tonight I came in and no one recognized that I was there I waited and waited and no one took my order, and they didn’t even look busy. The place was basically empty. on top of that the lady that was working there had no gloves on and was touching the food with her bare hands to measure the temperature because it looked like there cooker stopped working, The worst part was that she would scratch her nose through her mask and then touch the food with those same hands. I am truly Disgusted. I will never eat at a restaurant that has improper Hygiene.

On top of all of that it wasn’t even that late and they hardly had any food out I am very disappointed because I was hungry and couldn’t even get proper service. After waiting a while I Just left. Paying customers don’t deserve this kind of Service.
