As another reviewer mentioned, be careful ordering online and in the morning. Staff need training and the owner should be aware of what is happening. I ordered online at 5:02am for a 6:30am pickup (thankfully it was not for work.) and when I arrived, the place was closed. They did not have enough staff come on time so they opened sometime after 7am (people arrived and left). I had requested to cancel my order before 7am (outside as manager was talking to others drinking coffee) and he said he would but the manager never came back to confirm after entering. At open, I asked an employee for an update and I was told to wait. Eventually told it was not cancelled. Customer after customer were being helped. It was getting close to 7:30 and my wife was livid. She came into the store and asked for a manager. One associate actually told her, “no” so it shows she either needs training or doesn’t have respect for her management. Finally, manager told us it would be cancelled but he had to hear back. After some pushback from my wife and I for our long wait, he allowed us to take an incomplete order. I was never refunded and I filed a third party dispute, showed evidence of the order placed and when it was completed (over an hour after promised pickup) and won. This is not a way to run a business and we were told the staff didn’t arrive on time. Beware because I did not see that they are listed on the BBB website or Florida Division of Corporations as of today (maybe under another name) and you might not get your refund after paying and getting nothing in return online. Please note I have been coming for years to other locations and it was a great experience within. It doesn’t matter which location you go to you will ALWAYS get consistently fresh high quality authentic Puerto Rican food & baked goods & THE best coffee in town. Each location I’ve been to which is almost all of them has been absolutely ocd clean. I would trust this place with my life and I’m a complete germaphobe. I myself am bilingual English first language & Spanish second language by choice & I personally feel they could do better at hiring people who are fluently bilingual at minimum. I love speaking Spanish but I shouldn’t feel required to. This time I ordered through Uber Eats for the first time and I was blown away at how hot and fresh the Sandwich arrived & the Fries we’re actually crispy & better then my favorite McDonald’s Fries. The sandwich & fries were incredibly flavorful. The sandwich was a huge meat packed meat lovers dream, and I could only eat half at a time between two meals. Definitely worth every penny !! I’ve been noticing lots of Racist “Kissimmee has gone down hill” comments and blatant lies & made up stories about Hispanic restaurants in the Kissimmee area lately.. Tainos Bakery has been my go-to breakfast spot for takeout, ordering through DoorDash or Uber Eats at least once a week for my family and work meetings. Their consistency and quality have always impressed me, especially their coffee and pastries. However, my recent dine-in experience was quite disappointing.

After my doctor's appointment, my husband and I decided to eat at the restaurant for the first time since it opened. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the experience wouldn't be great. The entrance was cluttered with trash and even had what looked like a wasp nest, which set a bad tone. Inside, although the restaurant wasn’t busy, it took a long time to order and receive our food.

Finding a clean table was a challenge; every surface was dirty, and the floors were in need of a good sweeping. It’s really disheartening to see a place with such great food neglecting their dining area. While I still think Tainos is excellent for takeout, I can't recommend dining in until they seriously address cleanliness and service. It's a shame because I love their food, but if the dining area looks that neglected, I can't help but wonder about the kitchen.
