They have a great relationship with the schools in town. Instrument rentals as well as sales. An assortment of teachers hold lessons here in strings, winds, guitar, piano etc. If they don't know the answer, they enthusiastically research. Always friendly and I think they both really enjoy having the store and the atmosphere and culture of music in the little town of K-Falls. I've been a customer and friend of the store some five years and I'm normally a city guy, but this place has the reach and knowledge of a big city retailer, with the personality and charm of a shindig run by two guys who are really good at pretending they have lots of time on their hands. We ended up returning the violin because around the same time she got the violin she also got a guitar.
She likes playing the guitar more. We got it restringed for around $31 cost of strings and labor.
There are people here who also offer lessons for different musical instruments, 4 weeks later my daughter loves taking guitar lessons with Phil.
Phil is a great teacher he is kind, very patient and you can tell he enjoys what he's doing. Everyone who works here is the same way honestly.
