Panera Bread — Restaurant in Knightdale

Came here yesterday and waited over 30 minutes for a preordered coffee through their app. Just the cup, rapid pick-up. Then come to find out they were out of dark roast, cinnamon and honey. I’m here for breakfast and my sandwich order is supposedly being prepared. It was preordered through the app for a 10:45 pickup. It’s now 11:20. I had to go up to the counter only to find out they were out of croissants, which seems to be a daily occurrence. Same exact thing occurred with my order last week. Don’t update the order to ‘preparing’ when you are out of something. I would have no idea. Instead, you make me wait 30 minutes while you’re “preparing” only to find out my sandwich cannot be made as ordered. I literally have to stand at the pickup counter until someone finally chooses to acknowledge me, and then has an attitude about it. I’m pretty easy going, but this pisses me off. I have been eating at this restaurant for quite a long time, I usually order on Uber eats. Sometimes when I order things, they don’t have an option to add things like onions or lettuce or tomato, I usually just call the restaurant and ask them to add it and they do, as they have done it this restaurant many times . I placed an order for $70 today and then called them to request onions on a sandwich because Uber Eats does not offer that option, I was told by Jared the manager That he could not accommodate that request and that I would have to contact Uber. I found this to be extremely stupid. I am literally on the phone with him and he refuses to add onions to a sandwich. I have reviewed hundreds of places and always give a honest review. I came in to simply order a tea and muffin. At this time there was one person on the register and one customer ahead of me. She took this ladies order and I assume afterwards walked off to prepare it? But I’m not sure as she did not greet or acknowledge me to let me know if she would be back to help me. I patiently waited as I observed four people working on a catering order and casually holding conversation, off to the side from the registers. Would’ve been nice if one of them helped their team mate out as there’s one of her on the register but four of them working on a catering order…Minutes passed and still no acknowledgment to my presence and no one confirmed if or when I could be helped.
