Five Guys — Restaurant in Knoxville

Food was ready in relatively short time,about 15 -20 minutes,considering the place was crowded. Everything was good:the burgers were huge,and fantastic;,the amount of fries put all other food places,even restaurants,to shame! I've never seen/had such a Huge amount of fries for a small order in my life! And they were Very good! Only a couple of hard ones out of the whole lot! Seasoned just right for me,cause I don't like overly seasoned or over salted fries. My only complaint is the milkshake. I'd heard the shakes were excellent,but mine was not. Runny is the main thing. No thickness whatsoever. Was like drinking overly melted ice cream that had been set out too long. The salted caramel flavor wasn't very strong either. It might've been better had the ice cream been thicker,and then more flavor of the salted caramel. Overall,though,for my first time eating Five Guys food, I was very pleased and enjoyed it all. ( Except the shake). If I go again,I don't know if I'll get another milkshake or not. The first one could've been a fluke,so I probably will give it another chance. The workers were wonderful and very patient with a first-timer. Super friendly and efficient with such a crowd of people coming in and out. The cooks did a good job,too,dealing with so many different orders coming in rapidly. Inside was very clean,where the tables were. The friend I was with had to show me how to get my drink,though,cause I d never been anywhere that had the kind of soda/juice/water/ice machines before that were in this eatery. I love the five guys but todays experience was horrible at this location. the guy at the front counter just did not care about his job or the customers and ignored a couple people after me. the place was nasty from the moment u walk in to the cooking area. there was a very long wait and no where to sit that was clean while we waited for our food. when we received our food... the bacon was barley cooked and the buns was soggy from the overkill of mayonnaise. we did not get the extra fries that five guys usually does. what also sucked for us is that this was the first time my girlfriend had ever been to five guys so on the way over I was telling her how awesome five guys was but it ended up being a bad experience for both of us so lets just say this put a really bad taste in our mouth and we...

Wow! The young lady that greeted us at the front counter was awesome! She was so polite, professional, courteous! She was patient when none of us knew what we wanted and offered to assist with any questions. All of the staff was friendly. Let's get to the burgers, hotdogs, and fries! The burgers were cooked just right! All toppings were fresh. The bacon was cooked just right, crispy and not burnt. Crunchy lettuce, crispy pickles, just delicious burgers!
