Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Knoxville

Apparently there was a party there tonight we didn't know about after close. This is the Turkey Creek location. We got there tonight (4/5) about 10 till close and we got the expected reaction for that. The flippy haired ginger in the hat was nice and the cleaner cut blonde guy was ok. He wasn't exactly friendly but he was doing his job. You could tell they just wanted us out. Everything was cool until they officially locked their doors. A guy with twists in his hair came out and started dancing and then people started driving up and banging on the doors to come in. And they let them in. It was a guy and a girl, they go behind the counter and just start eating ice cream! Then another guy comes banging on the door. And the guy with twists, jumps over the oce cream cooler to open the door! He comes in, they start dancing together and then another girl comes up and wants in. They let her in too! By now, theres like TEN PEOPLE IN THERE. Hanging out, eating ice cream. I didn't see it for myself, bit my husband says he saw one eating from the cylinder of ice cream itself! What the hell! They rushed us out so they could have a little party, I guess? Where are the adults? No one in there couldve been older than maybe 21. The ice cream itself was okay. It tasted like it had thawed and been refrozen. We got the "we are out of everything" spiel. We were just pretty awstruck by the whole thing so we just sat...

The Turkey Creek location used to be so good. I drive close to an hour to get there and the last 3 times I have gone it has been terrible. The first time the ice cream was so soft they couldn’t give me a cone because it ran straight out of the bottom, the second trip they had no chocolate of any kind and it was 5pm, and just tonight I arrived at 7:45 and the girl working locked the door as I went to open it and turns around and walks off. Both her and the boy went to the back and stayed. I went next door and came back 30 min later and she was putting a sign up that they had a truck and closed. There were more than 10 people out front, all complaining of how poor this location performs now. They need a new manager in a bad way because this store it failing. Looks like I’ll get a “send an email and complain” generic response as others have which I won’t bother to do but be warned how terrible...

2 stars because the food was good. The service was on the other hand was horrible. My wife, myself, and my nearly 3 year old daughter wanted an after church cookie so we decided to go this location and were greatly disappointed by the customer service. When we walked in there were 2 employees behind the counter and neither said a word to us. 1 of the employees look at us, turned away, and walked to the back the store not to be seen again for the rest of our visit. The employee that was helping the customer in front of us had long hair that was dangling over the icecream she was making for that customer, which was kinda gross. When it was our turn to order my daughter said she wanted the M&M cookie. The Cookie she handed us had three M&M's while the cookies in the display were loaded. We asked her to switch it out, which she did but never spike to us. Very disappointed and will not...
