This is the worst customer service for online order and delivery. Right hand doesn't know what left hand is doing nor do they care. I ordered an item and needed it same day therefore paid the delivery fee. After it was 45 minutes past scheduled time, and no delivery made, I called the store. They said the item I ordered hadn't been picked up yet. They said they didn't know who was supposed to pick it up. They said they had no idea how to contact the third party delivery service. And also, judging by the conversation with the manager, it appeared this is not unusual. SO how does a company this size run such an inefficient service? They could not tell me if it was going to be delivered at all today or could not guarantee it would even be delivered. So the manager, Ed, then says, call the 800 number, maybe they can tell you who is supposed to be delivering it. Of course, trying to call any company these days leads to very long hold times and AI robots. 45 minutes later, and still no one has answered, but the next available agent will take my call! No thanks, companies like this don't deserve to be in business if they can't provide a promised service or any decent service for that matter. No one followed up on my order, no one cared. I won't go there again, won't shop there again. So how did I resolve this, I am going to go to BEST BUY. I will be driving an additional 25 minutes than it would take to stop at the closer Office Max location, but I will NOT go to Office Max or Office Depot again. When you go to the Office Max website it states there is that very chair in stock for same day pick up, with assembly for an extra $15. However, staff said they didn't have one in stock and wouldn't let me buy the floor model however they offered to order it and have it delivered for free shipping. They couldn't guarantee any shipping time. Staff had no genuine interest in helping providing customer service.
A quick peek online showed me I could get it cheaper through Amazon and I have free shipping with them. So I ended up buying the same chair online via Amazon for $10 less with free shipping. Read moreMy cards were supposed to be ready by 6pm. I never got the text saying they were done so I called the store to ask if they were done, but they let the phone ring for 5 full minutes. Then once they answered, they tried to hang up but I was still on the phone because they left it off the hook. I assumed they left it off so I they didn’t get anymore calls. So I stayed on the line until entering the store, and sure enough the cashiers were just playing around with me now in the store, and still on the phone!! On top of all that my cards weren’t even ready. If they would’ve answered my call I could’ve not came all the way down here. Very bad customer service in my opinion!
