Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Knoxville

Most days it’s hard for me to leave the house, and so I usually order my coffee and pastries for delivery from a direct competitor. However I decided to venture out and pick up the coffee myself, and choose to go to Scooters for the first time. I was already nervous pulling up to the speaker box, but I was calmly guided through the process by the sweet young lady taking my order. She chose to answer every question I had for her, even the ones I repeated. She didn’t have to do that for me. When I finally placed my order and pulled up to the window, Laura greeted me with the kindest smile and wave, and even though I totally forgot to order my three additional shots but Laura told me that ordering at the window was not a problem.m, and instead of being annoyed like I would have expected her to, she continued to make conversation with me. Luckily there was no one behind me. She asked me how my day was going, we talked about what I did for work, and I even found out her and my son share the same taste in music. I honestly think it’s so important for baristas to be connecting with customers like this. I go to other coffee shops and most baristas do not even want to look at you while taking your order, let alone take the time to find out how your day is going.

In the fast paced world, that is the life, having quick access to caffeine is very important. Today I was lucky enough to try Scooter’s Coffee for the first time. There are several reasons why I liked my coffee experience there so much. First things first, the coffee was amazing. I ordered the butterscotch cold foam-cold brew because I saw the picture on the kiosk and I thought it would be fun to try something new. I’m very happy I did. It was the perfect mix of traditional coffee flavor with the best tasting cold foam I have ever had. The second reason I really enjoyed my experience there was because the baristas were really nice, like Chick-fil-A nice. They were helpful while I ordered and when I picked up my drink they asked me how I was doing and they seemed interested in what I said. It might sound dumb but my interaction with them made me feel happy. I know this is a long review but I feel like Scooter’s really deserves a shoutout for my experience today. I will definitely go back...

First of all, they were super friendly which can really make a persons day. Second of all…. DUDE the carmelisious blender was DELICIOUS!!!! It’s like a very smooth coffee smoothie vs an icy frappe which is what I expected. I was honestly kinda in shock when I took my first sip. My mother got some kind of refresher and you can choose if you want it made with tea, lemon aid, coconut milk etc which I thought was pretty cool. It was tasty too 🥰 they were also super fast, always a plus:) no complaints whatsoever. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while but was scared it wouldn’t be anything special…. So glad that wasn’t the case. Very very impressive drink. Ugh thank you so much!! I’ll definitely be back. Also first timers should download the app...
