This Brownsburg McDonald's was the absolute WORST experience ever and that's saying something with all the horrendous examples of poor customer service that most McDonald's display! I had 4 grandchildren with me , so I chose the "convenience" of the drive through. HUGE MISTAKE! I ordered a large Unsweet tea and 2 -$5 giftcards to share with a child with a birthday party nearby. Luckily I asked for a receipt because, after 10 min in the drive-thru I was given my tea and never told to pull up, or park. Customers behind me in the drive-thru, had to wait additional 6 min. I got the manager to look into what happened to my gift cards, so she took my receipt and STILL didn't ask me to pull forward to the THIRD window! The birthday party was nearby but I had to get the cards! Finally, in desperation, I went inside and spotted an employee, holding my receipt & the 2 cards! I said "Great, you have my cards!" He said"Wait, I was just given this task, I have to figure out why they haven't been rung up yet" I said , " You have my receipt & cards, could I JUST GET THEM?" He hollered back the same sentence, that he was just given the task to find out why the 1st guy didn't ring up the cards. I said, "They WERE ALREADY, look at the receipt!" He went back to a register and got out a $10 bill and THREW IT ACROSS THE COUNTER AT ME! It landed on the floor at my feet. Even though the same Manager who originally took my receipt to try to FIX the problem was right there, she came over & backed the employee up & said"Have a good day, you can leave now!" I never asked for the $ back, I was now running late to the birthday party and I had left my grandkids in the car & I just wanted the stupid cards!! Incredible! The ONLY thing that McDonald's does well...

Ask for simple things and they got it completely wrong when I came back around the dark skinned lady at the window wanted to say I didn’t ask for it a certain way when I KNOW I did bc I always get my stuff that way and double check it every time! She was rude an disrespectful and when I asked for the manger I then hear her talking about me and how It was my fault to the manager Carolyn comes up and I tell her what happened and she just goes and gets me to cold peace of cheese which didn’t really solve the problem she said she “couldn’t take it back through the window” and that’s why she gave me the cheese ! I proceed to check the rest of my bag before leaveing and then 2 other things were completely wrong there was lettuce on the other 2 mcchickens ! She then takes the sandwiches through the window (!!!!) and goes to the back an comes back 2 secs later with my food that was cook to order !!! An the Mc chicken was still fresh so there for I know she just through away the buns and put new buns on it !!! Which i am highly allergic to lettuce so the fact it couldn’t just of been right in the first place! and after telling me she couldn’t take anything through the window and still proceeds to do so (.) AND SHE WAS A MANAGER!! Do not go here at night time if the manger is Carolyn she doesn’t take care of situations...
Read moreDon’t try to use the app if you go in after 8:00pm. The night manager; “Brian”, a greasy fellow with a poor attitude and a poorer work ethic, will be the one to “help” you. I walked into the restaurant at 8:25, when I got to the counter I saw one employee frantically running around trying to help the customers. She was VERY nice, but overwhelmed. After about 5 minutes, she finally made it to the counter to help me, as I had made a purchase in the app but I had forgotten my card was turned off, so the app instructed me to pay at the register. When I attempted to pay, the terminal froze, and the employee wasn’t sure what to do. She called back for the manager, but, was met with argumentative replies from the aforementioned manager as he sat down watching her work. After he finally pulled himself from his chair and came to the register he was instantly argumentative with me, interrupting as I tried to explain the situation. He told me to re-run my card and it overcharged me, when I pointed this out, he said under his breathe; “that’s why I asked what order it was” (which he had not asked me). When I pointed out that he was being rude and that as a General Manager I would not permit my managers to treat my customers in such a way; he said that instead I was rude and now banned from the restaurant.
