Firehouse Subs Kyle Village — Restaurant in Kyle

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Placed my order at 1:04pm and was told it would be 10 minutes. Received my sandwich 19 minutes later at 1:23pm but my soup was missing. I was then told it would take another 3 minutes for my small cup of potato soup. During my visit, there were 8 other customers impatiently waiting for their food. The reason? One of them had an order of 4 large bags of sandwiches plus 4 other bags of sides plus drinks. The staff made all other customers wait so this incredibly selfish individual could get her large order of food. After that customer left, the next customer to get her food commented that she waited for an hour. She walked out the door and the staff complained that she should know better than or expect quick service at lunch time. As I was eating my food, a family behind me finally got their food and the wife/mother told the staff that her sandwich was missing ingredients that she asked for. The staff member went back and forth with her about it then finally asked her for a receipt. Are you kidding me? All she wanted was toppings for her sandwich and they humiliated her in front of everyone. The soup is watery/bland, the sandwich is mediocre and the location is filthy. My $14 dollar lunch was not...

Their lucky there isn't negative stars , i ordered a salad was sold a salad , get my food to eat there , which sitting down was hard enough from all the dirty tables & floor . Looking to get some sweet tea , and asked the gentleman behind the counter if the weird looking container had sweet tea in it , because it was not the normal tea container , he replied with not sure havent had time to make any , but when we wasn't working saw him sitting down in the office... Hmmmm ? So i get my salad ask for a fork and they tell me we ran out yesterday ! Wait ! What ? You sell me a salad knowing you don't have the utensils i need to eat it with , then I'm told well I'll figure something out. This was the biggest disappointment & i will never eat there again , had nothing in stock , no chips , no cookies NOTHING to even eat my meal with. Very hard to believe this was the same place i ate at , when the owner her self served me & my fiance and bragged about how she runs the place tip top shape because its her lively hood.... It's too bad i love firehouse subs but will never eat at this...

Came in tonight to order only to be told that they were out of chicken, steak, and brisket. They were also out of large bread! Everything was out as far as drinks and chips and hot sauce were few and far between. I even asked them if they were going out of business because that's what it looks like. As others have said it was dirty and seems like the restaurant as a whole is the last priority.

What really irritated my family though was paying almost $50 and they used the bagged frozen HEB meatballs, what I assume was Hill Country Fare turkey, and rolls from HEB. I have seen their employees MANY times coming out of HEB with arm loads of groceries.

The employee said everything should be up and running and back to normal by Saturday, but after several sub par visits I'll pass.

If you want amazing Firehouse the one in San Marcos is owned by the woman who runs the one in South Austin and she is phenomenal!
