On 10/30/24 @ 4:11pm I went in to place an order for 3 beef tacos, lg quesadilla , plain fries, mexican pizza, medium pico and a nacho. We received our number and sat down waiting for our order. There were a Hispanic couple sitting and eating when we order and me and my son. Moments later an Hispanic family of 4 came in to order. As my son and I sat there waiting on our order, the family that came in after us began to receive their order as they were dinning in. I noticed it was taking a while so I asked the employee (Cynthia) that took my order how much longer, by this time it was 4:50pm. She rushed to check and came out with my order at 4:55pm. I checked my order to make sure everything I paid for was in the bag. Low and behold I was missing the quesadilla and the medium pico. I went to the register and stood there another 5 to 6 min while your staff stood in the back playing as if they shouldn't be watching for customers are assisting the customers that were in your establishment. Another customer came in as I was standing there and he decided to leave because the wait was to long just to place an order. I noticed a young lady standing at the drive-though, I said excuse me twice no one answered. I repeated excuse me again , and the drive-though person YELLED at me and said I AM BUSY. I said excuse me!! She later to find out she is the person YOU hired to manage the store Kassandra!! She WAS so Rude so so RUDE to me and then John ( blonde head heavy set boy) comes from the kitchen to also argue with me and called me out of my name. I was the ONLY Black person in that store and I felt discriminated against and will absolutely take this complaints and treatment about your upper management level. I want a call from Kassandra's boss and the boss over her boss!! I will make sure that her very poor customer service and John never treat another person that visit that store in Kyle get the same rude and poor service that they offered. Read moreI do want to start with saying the place is always clean, but every time I have went,5 times, it was bad. Had to wait on our food for way over an hr after we ordered, hair in my taco, and the mornings are horrible. Today, I ordered online to pick up a box of tacos for my daughters last day or school. I wanted15 mins and no one showed up to the register, they just kept walking by or on their phones. A lady came in after, even though I was there 15 mins, and she grabbed someone and said I orderes a box of tacos. They took care of her within 5 mins. I had to finally grab the same person, since no one still asked if I needed help, and said I am waiting on my order too. It took them 15 more mins to get my order and instead of a box I get a small paper bag of tacos crammed in. I said I ordered a box. She finally brought out a box. I was there 30-35 mins to get an order, when I prepaid and ordered online. Horrible service. No one took care of me there. Since I was there they should have taken care of me instead of letting someone else before me get thier stuff. They should have been at the register instead of ignoring the people that were there. 3 sets of people waiting behind me left because no one was up front taking care of us. I have went inside couple of times and you will be waiting a while before somone assist you. Customer service needs to be there, exspecially in the mornings. Read moreMade online order for curbside pickup. Drove to location. Didn't see any place marked for curbside.
On second trip around I saw two flags on two stalls. One was bent over and unreadable. The other said reserved with a number 2 on it. No mention of what the reserved meaning was. I assumed it was for curbside pickup so I waited.
Nothing saying to do anything so I waited.
I waited ten minutes after the order was to be ready. I called the store with no answer. I left a message stating I was in stall number 2 for curbside pickup.
Still nobody came out.
I walked inside the store. At the counter I stated I was there for a curbside pickup. She asked for who, I gave her the name. The order was on a rack behind the counter area waiting for someone to collect it. She gave me the order and I walked back to my vehicle and left.
I do not have the app for the store. I made the order and paid online from the website.
The was no information stating what to do upon arrival. Nothing saying "we're here."
The food was ok but no different from other workaurants of similar type.
This has got to be the most unorganized, uninformed location I have ever been to. I guess they rely on people going in the drive through or inside.
This was my first trip to Taco Cabana. They say first impressions...this was not a good first impression. This is most likely my last trip to Taco Cabana.
The person at the counter was the only bright spot on this visit. She was helpful and made sure the order was correct...
